[iOS/Android] Castle Combo Digital version available

• Upvotes

Hi all!

Some of you might remember a post a while back about the digital version of Witchcraft! Thanks again for the support, it meant a lot to a small team like ours.

We’ve just released our second adaptation: the official digital version of Castle Combo, the card drafting and tableau-building game by Catch Up Games (designed by Grégory Grard & Mathieu Roussel, illustrated by Stéphane Escapa). It’s out now on iOS and Android.

This one was a tricky game to adapt, because we didn’t want to just port it over as-is. We put a lot of work into creating a solo campaign that offers a different way to enjoy the game, and we built several bots so it still works great when you don’t have people around to play with.

It’s only been out for a few days, and while we’ve poured a lot of effort into it, the game still has room to grow. We’re hoping to add the expansions soon, and to expand it with more campaigns and bots if people enjoy it.

I really hope you like it, and I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have!

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mantitagames.castlecombo&pcampaignid=web_share

Thanks for reading!

[PC] Can you beat Gambit 34 in Gold Coast Gambits: Boca Raton & Palm Beach?

Thumbnail

I’m Lars, the developer. Gold Coast Gambits is the digital version of our hand-drawn board game, which we’re working on publishing. The digital version has 50 solo puzzles we call Gambits. The higher the number, the harder they get, and each level introduces a new character with a unique ability.

This is Gambit 34, where you play Roxana. She can force any player to skip their turn (twice). She faces 3 bots, each with their own personality: the Flamingo Queen, the Magician and the Pirate.

To solve it, you have to flip 2 Lagoon cards and 4 Atlantic cards, and finish with the most prestige points. Flipping the cards is the easy part. Winning on prestige while doing it is the hard part. You need a bit of luck and to use Roxana’s power at the right moment.

The game is 30% off on Steam this week, so it’s a good time to try.

All artwork is hand drawn. No AI.

[Web] Fillup — a cozy chain-reaction strategy game, now with weekly solo challenges

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi! I'm the developer of Fillup. I've shared it here before and wanted to show the latest version.

It's a free, tabletop-inspired browser game based on Chain Reaction. You add a piece to an empty cell or one you own. Full cells send pieces into their neighbors and capture them, sometimes setting off a reaction that turns the board around.

There's a solo Campaign, local play for 2–4 people on one screen, private online tables, and Casual or Ranked matches. You can also collect colors and textures to customize your pieces.

The latest addition is Weekly Tower: ten solo floors with checkpoints, free retries, and exclusive cosmetics to earn. Clearing it opens harder ascents, with a weekly leaderboard for the climb.

It works in desktop and phone browsers. You can try the main game as a guest; Tower requires a free registered account.

Play: https://fillup.fun/play-now

Hope you enjoy it! Happy to answer questions.

[DEV] I launched my 21+ tabletop party game as an app first to fund the physical cardboard release! Davado 2020 is live.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building a 21+ party board game called Davado 2020. Manufacturing a massive physical board game is incredibly expensive, so I decided to code and launch it as a digital Android app first!

My ultimate goal is to build our community digitally and use the app to finally fund the physical cardboard boxes.

The game is officially available right now on Google Play. There is a free 1-round demo, and unlocking the full game is just a one-time $4.99 purchase with zero ads.

Check out the attached gameplay trailer to see the vibe! Tag a friend in the comments you think would love to play this at your next game night.

You can download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dalaneyroberts.davado2020

Three layers. Two dice. Your square isn’t safe. 🍄 Try my 3D tic-tac-toe battle game

I made 3D tic-tac-toe with dice battles—would love some honest playtest feedback

Hey everyone! I’m building Mycelium Battles, a browser game that starts with three-dimensional tic-tac-toe: three stacked 3×3 boards, with three in a straight line in any direction winning the game.

The twist? You can challenge an opponent’s occupied square. Both players roll a die. Higher roll wins the battle, ties reroll, and the battle winner owns the square and plays next. Each square can only be challenged once.

Making three in a row with a new placement also gives your opponent one final chance to challenge that square. Winning a battle alone doesn’t win the game—you still need that line of three.

🍄 "Play the free browser demo" (https://triple-cube-tic-tac-toe.docjames365.chatgpt.site/)

No download, account, or payment needed. Play against the computer or pass one device between two players. There’s a How to play button above the board.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

- Are the rules and board easy to understand?

- Do the battles feel fun and fair?

- Would you play another round?

Bugs, confusing moments, and blunt opinions are all welcome. Thanks for giving it a try!

MageStone - Fantasy Strategy Board Game

Looking for just a few playtesters to give my game 15 minutes of their time. The game is very easy to learn and players are guided through how to play via a tutorial. A lot of players have told me they figure it out through play though if you don't want to spend time on a tutorial.

The best way to describe the game:

It’s a combination of risk and chess.

Movement, blocking and dice probability play huge parts in the game.

As your mage gets stronger, so does its attack dice!

Try it out below and leave a review if you can!

[iOS/Android] Step It: a 9×9 race-and-wall duel with charged hero abilities

I'm Mohamed, co-founder of Virtual Verse Studio. We made Step It, a digital board duel for two players.

The goal is to reach the opposite edge of a 9×9 board. On each turn you either move or place a wall. A wall can force a detour, but a route must always remain open. Each hero adds a charged ability: Dash, for example, can take two steps in one turn while still obeying walls.

If you want to try it with someone, Friendly Duel lets one player create a room and share its code with the other. Practice against the computer works offline. Online matchmaking can fall back to a computer opponent if no human is found.

It's free to download with optional in-app purchases:

- Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.virtualversestudio.stepit

- iPhone/iPad: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6812337853

- Rules and gameplay: https://virtualverse.studio/step-it

For board-game players: does adding a charged hero ability make this kind of race more interesting, or would you prefer the same abilities on both sides?

Disclosure: developer post; prepared with AI writing assistance.

Everdawn: a free, hand-illustrated strategy card game you can play in your browser

Post image
14 Upvotes

Game Title: Everdawn

Playable Link: https://everdawntcg.com/learn

Platform: Web (browser, phone or desktop)

Description:

Everdawn is a free, hand-illustrated high-fantasy trading card game that you play in your browser (with goals of going physical in the future). The rules are built in, so you can't make an illegal move, and a guided duel against the Training Dummy teaches you on the real board in about three minutes, with no account needed.

There's no mana or resource system. Instead, the game is about space and positioning. Each creature holds one of three lanes. Melee hits straight ahead, range reaches the lanes next to it, and magic can hit any lane. A combat triangle decides who has the edge: melee beats range, range beats magic, and magic beats melee. Advantage adds bonus damage and defense. Every attack gets counterattacked, so a good attack is about the matchup, not just the biggest number. You equip weapons, armour and accessories, set creatures to boost their neighbours, and cast spells mid-combat to swing a fight.

Once you've learned, you can build decks and duel friends live or at a daily pace (24 hours a move). There's also a Daily Puzzle, one "win this turn" board a day that's the same for everyone, plus player-run Houses and season rankings.

I'd love honest feedback: did the guided duel make the rules click, and was anything confusing on your phone?

Free to Play Status:

[x] Free to play
[ ] Demo/Key available
[ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: I'm the creator and game designer. I designed the rules and the cards, and I run the online version at everdawntcg.com. The card art is by Jonathan Griswold.

I am looking for people who enjoy strategy and combat to test my game.

Hello everyone!!

I am developing a medieval strategy board game focused on territorial conquest, tactical battles, and empire expansion.

The concept is simple: accessible rules, yet with a wealth of strategic possibilities. Every decision can influence control of the map, the development of your army, the fate of your empire, and much more!

I am looking for people interested in learning about the project and participating in playtesting sessions. You don’t need to be a board game expert!!! I want to bring together players who enjoy strategy and are open to trying something new!

If you have \*Tabletop Simulator\* (available on Steam), you can join in—just get in touch with me.

If you’re interested in learning more about the game or getting involved in future activities, feel free to leave a comment!

Category: Strategy, worker placement, combat.

2 to 6 players.

Weight: 2.5

No one can beat the Atlas Diplomacy AI bot

Atlas Diplomacy https://atlasdip.com recently released its AI bot. The AI bot is designed to play and talk like a human, the only publicly available bot on any Diplomacy platform that can do this. In 20 completed games against the bot so far, there have been 0 wins. This was the closest attempt, a stalemate by u/Kingred. Who will be the first player to beat the bot?

[Windows][DEV] We drew these cards at school. Now you can craft your own in Cardcraft.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The photo at the start is real: my classmates and I drew these paper cards in high school. I later turned that idea into Cardcraft, where you choose a card's cost, stats and effects, then take your creation into combat.

What two effects would you put on the same card?

A free Windows Demo is available on Steam. If the idea interests you, you can wishlist the full game.

Free Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5107690/

Wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4338300/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=native_video&utm_campaign=nextfest_oct2026&utm_content=digitaltabletop_origin_r73

Website: https://kaiseriii.tech/projects/cardcraft/

The paper-card photo is an authentic earlier prototype, not the exact digital card shown. Gameplay is from the full game in development; both minions trade out in this clip, rather than winning a match. The current Demo includes the crafting tutorial, 8 selected skills, deckbuilding, AI battles and Endless Workshop Act I through its first boss. Online play and later acts belong to the full game; the exact skill combination shown is not a promise of Demo content. The full release is planned for December 2026.

Independent developer: Yu Yue (KaiserIII). AI tools assist programming, copy and translation; the game and promotional materials include AI-generated art. The original paper-card photo is real.

DeFuZion! Wild Dice is in private alpha on BGA, looking for testers

Hi everyone, I'm Kevin, a first-time designer in Malvern, PA. My game DeFuZion! Wild Dice just went into private alpha here on Board Game Arena, and I'm looking for people to try it.

It's a quick dice game for 2 to 6 players, about 15 minutes. Match dice to cards to score, cards you can't cover hit your FuZe, drop below zero and you blow up.

Private alpha means no public link, so comment or DM me your BGA username and I'll add you to the players group, usually the same day. One-question signup form here too: [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfFjY19L3cSM2n986XJn29\\_NE\\_1ppBavU20ShJY\\_z0Zdxm64Q/viewform\](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfFjY19L3cSM2n986XJn29_NE_1ppBavU20ShJY_z0Zdxm64Q/viewform) Turn-based is fine, play your turn whenever.

I'd love honest feedback, and playtesters get thanked by name in the rulebook. Anyone up for a quick game? Thanks! Kevin

Set 4 for my chess game is out now!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I made a online chess variant called MetaChess that allows you to customize your board with different types of pieces before playing. It's a draft-based version of chess with new pieces and asymmetric boards, creating billions of more possible board positions and new strategies that have not been discovered yet.

I just released set 4 for my game, which includes 5 new pieces: bomb, astronaut, catapult, siren and philosopher!

Bomb - Placed anywhere in the center rows and never moves. When captured, by either side, it destroys everything around it, kings included
Astronaut - At the start of each turn, 3 random tiles within 2 squares light up. It can jump to or capture on any of them. Can also capture enemy rocks.
Catapult - Moves like a king. Can throw any friendly piece next to it, excluding the king, 3 or 4 tiles ahead, or 3 ahead and 2 to the side. A piece thrown onto an enemy takes it down with it.
Siren - Moves and captures like a king. Can pull the first piece it sees in any direction 1 or 2 squares toward itself.
Philosopher - Moves and captures like a pawn and learns the moves of every piece it captures. Never promotes, but after reaching the far rank it can also move backward.

Also a huge shoutout and thanks to iwantcheckmate (one of the best chess variant youtubers out there!!) for playing my game! You can check out his video here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVuAgqLzD_o

Here's the link if you are interested and want to play with your friends!

[Web] Would you try out my Azul bots on my azul clone?

Thumbnail
tiles.aroundand.in
3 Upvotes

Hi

I made an online azul clone with (imo) really nice art. But, currently I wrote a few different bots that can play azul too and I would like feedback on those

- correctness (seems okay in my stress tests)

- bot feel (does the moves the bots make feel inscrutable, or do the bots feel like humans)

You don't need to sign up.

I will fully launch the game in a month

How the bots work:

  • easy: greedy bot, wont steal but I introduce a few random (but still correct blunders)
  • normal: easy bot but no blunders
  • hard: mcts with lookahead
  • expert: rl not, alpha zero style

In the demo, you can play online with 1–4 players or try Story Mode.

The rarer your four-word combination, the bigger the score. YOU ARE BIG NOW, for example, scores extra because it forms a sentence.
