Did anyone get vibes of shipping pairs in TB. I know Yulei in TB she made that inneundo of Davis and Ken. But I think that was just from past from anime . But the vibe I got from the movie(this is the movie) was not of Ken and Davis….rather Davis and Lui. I say this from how Davis empathetic 02 person throughout this movie and he was the one that does the whole go talk to Ukkomon. I got this from my 2nd rewatch. If you see only the context of the movie, its possible to make at least the contextual derivative of seeing the possibility of a ship.

Tk and Kari ? I guess they were a ship but didnt do much?

I know the bandana is usually red but I have a Beelzemon in Time Stranger that started as Dracmon and wanted to include that somewhere in the design

I'm a nurse and night shifts have downtime so it was nice to bring my tablet in and work on this between jobs.

I-it's not like..I want you to hug me or anything else

I’m new to Digimon overall, with my only experience so far being the V pets and Time Stranger, so I want to watch one of the shows. Ghost Game caught my eye mostly cuz I like Gammons design, but most things I’ve seen were from a few years ago saying the ending kinda ruins it. Is it still good going into it expecting the ending to not be that great? Or should I try another show instead?

Bake from Bakemon, right?!

Round 1 - Voted Out: Agunimon

Last round, most of you voted out the embodiment of flame - Agunimon! …he never stood a chance. 1 down, 8 more to go!

Each comment of a Digimon’s name will be counted as a vote, even if it’s downvoted into oblivion; there will be seven rounds total to go through given the main anime partners listed. Remember, you’re commenting to vote one of the Digimon out until we have one left as the winner!

I was using the Digimon Partner Kit webpage, and decided to start generating randomised lines just to see what it’d come up with… big mistake for a bored artist with WAY too much free time who’s prone to spontaneous hyperfixation-related ideas

When I got to the third line in the above image, I laughed at the thought of a Garbagemon becoming a Rosemon, because it’s just like the famous quote,“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,” and also that it was a randomised coincidence… 😂

So I looked back at the DemiDevimon whose Mega is a literal angel, and then it hit me: every single one of these lines’ final stages juxtaposes their Rookie selves, and since Digimon are usually reflections of their partners, it could make for an interesting story

Hm… I think I’ll call it… “Digimon: True Hues” 🤔💭

This time we get a preview of parallel/alt art for Atratusmon from Digimon Card Game Booster Set 27 Ignition of X. More at WtW- https://withthewill.net/threads/atratusmon-parallel-alt-art-preview-for-digimon-card-game-booster-set-27.37029/

According to D-Power Version 3.0 their ultimates would be Saber Leomon, Hi Andromon, Marin Angemon and Cherubimon (Virtue).

I can’t seem to defeat the Ogremon titans. And it doesn’t matter that I’m using an all-vaccine team. All of my vaccine Digimon are around level 10, which could mean they’re just too weak right now.

Would it be possible to put my Digimon into the digifarm to gain levels? I’ve tried looking online for advice, but I’ve read everything from “don’t use the digifarm, it sucks” to “put them in the digifarm for a half hour of gameplay”. I’ve tried the digifarm for a half hour method, but there wasn’t any change. What am I doing wrong?

Tai and Agumon won against Red and Charizard from Pokémon!

Contains: minor Digimon Beatbreak spoilers!

Digimon as a series has struggled to really bring to light strong, empowered, and independant female characters especially Digipartners. There certainly have been a few standouts, but overall the male heroes tend to be the backbone and focus of most series. The latest anime (Beatbreak) had the making of some real potentially great female characters but due to whatever circumstances most got relatively backburnered or underused (Rose, Reina, Honoka, etc)

I will also say we did have a stunning example of all three traits in Ms Maki Kutsuwada, who is both a former Cleaner and a stable reoccuring character whose backstory and mini-arc really set the bar in space for how beautifully protrayed she, her story, and her journey were relayed.

E32 (Cold Rain) of Beatbreak is an episode that goes into Maki's history, and it's... immensely sad. Knowing that Maki both had a partner that got deleted, and in Panjyamon's death he told her that her hands she never be made for violence, but making delicious coffee.. Makes you really want not only more for Maki, but to spend more time with her as a person to see how and why we got her. In the end of the episode, we see Maki face directly the bane of her existence - Fumamon, the entity that took away Panjyamon.. and she had to make a choice: let her anger overtake her and delete Fumamon - going against everything Panjyamon wanted for her, or to choose to believe in the world that Kyo wanted, even if it meant her own dreams would be put on hold.

It's a pivotal moment that really shows how strong Maki is and how far she's grown from the first time she met Fumamon 15 years ago. It's a haunting episode and leaves you heartbroken, no matter how you look at it, if nothing else but for how much Maki has had to endure in this shitty, broken dystopia.

With a quick two mini-arc focus for Maki - it felt like we just all became so endeared to her right away. I'd honestly love a couple mini-series or OVA that goes back deeper into her story - who her original partner was, how their loss came to be, and how Maki got connected with Yosshi & Kyo and even a portion in the epilogue where we truly get to see who she was looking at the end of the series as they enjoyed a cup of her special coffee (that she normally only makes in memory for a very special someone on rainy days!)

Curious if anyone else would fully jump into any additional Maki-focused media.
