Underrated

Out of the entire discography, we have been given gems upon gems upon treasures, and plenty more. Sometimes we forget about some of the bangers at the bottom. So, Deftones community, let’s hear it. What is Deftones most underrated song.
I’ll tally up in a couple days to see what happens.
Have a good one!

Pittura Infamante

Error

(L)MIRL

Dai The Flu tbh I remember like a month ago too many people on this subwere saying it was the worst ATF track which is insane to me and I don't even care for the album overall but this is one of the better songs imo.

One Weak, one of my faves off Adrenaline but it gets considered one of the worst tracks on there by a lot of people.

Mein

Cut Hands

Rivere

Rapture

Yes Error deserves way more love.

Error is the most criminally underrated song in their whole library.

Hear me out guys: Rubicon

Makes me so euphoric every time the chorus hits

Definitely, I always imagine a samurai wounded but he's holding his ground against a large group of ninjas, he's 1 and they're 100. But he's not down for the count yet he's watching them in the front of him and he's watching them behind them in the reflection of his katana waiting for the first one to move.

My answer to this will always be urantia. To me it's one of their absolute best songs but nobody really knows it outside of hardcore fans.

I was 19 in 1995: Fist.

So treated as a throwaway skip but, for me, what each member brought to the track- it’s simplicity, builds and repetition was then and now pivotal.

Give it a listen.

combat deserves SO much more love. that song sounds like it’s trying to crawl out of the speakers and fight someone 😭 deftones really have songs buried in their discography that would be another band’s biggest hit

976-EVIL and This Place is Death to close out Diamond Eyes is sublime and it is a shame they are never played live.

Who said that? 🤬🤣 many years ago a friend of mine used to make fun of Deftones because of the singing. Then one day I showed him Deathblow and he said “Damn, the singer is really feeling it in this one.” He was quite impressed 🤘🏼
