discussion Progress

I'm a new player (30h), I've been playing in rearmed since I started but I've been finding it really easy.I mean as a 30h player I just did a freshie-Tier 3 armor in like 2h.I can't find any other good servers that are just a bit harder.And also after I get some good loot and guns I have no idea what to do next,so am open for advice

Try any server that has vanilla+ in the name.

I have tried but in most of them I spent 2-3h to find literature nothing and zombies are way too many

Yeah. You have to find out how to survine nonetheless. Thats the point of it.

Official, Sakhal or Nasdara. Chernarus can be a death machine during high pop too.

I mostly play Chernarus and ngl I am pretty good on PvP

But you play on a modded server that babies you. All those things that you don’t have to manage on the modded server you have to manage on official. Ammo, food, medicine, crafting, stamina when fighting.

Rearmed has boosted loot unlimited stamina and no infected. It's made for just pvp, nothing like a vanilla server.

Go play official, get yourself a stash, then hit the military zones. That should all keep you plenty busy for the next 30 hours when you’re actually playing the real DayZ, versus a milk toast version.

Play a vanilla server with zero mods. The fun part about dayz is the challenge. Anything else feels too easy and not rewarding enough. It’s a rush when you finally find that baby ak magazine or the scope to your rifle.

Not just your opinion...I second this, definitely.

Official is THE way.

Everything that is not Official is modified by definition.

Taking u/Sad-End1289 's story at face value, if all this can be done on Official then perhaps he needs to find a mentee, or get geared up and start distributing random high-level pieces to freshies, or find someone he can team up with... because it doesn't take a faction or a squad of 10 to run a high pop official server, even a committed duo can rule the land.

Show off by building a strong, raid-proof base and establishing yourself far and wide to be King of the Map.

I'd be impressed, because I don't know if many have actually done it.

Of course, photos and clips of any of this along the way to the peak (or frankly, from any of the last 2 hours you spent on your beach-to-chad speed run) would be enjoyable to many...as well as provide veracity.

The best way to learn this game is to die, freshie up do it again its refreshing each time dont get gear fear and start being a camper play the game. Learn each gun the best you can. My advice join a moderate pop official map. Tip if your scared you will die smile in the face of adversity and shoot eventually you will start winning fights. So when the opportunity arises go for it. To answer your question stick with official to learn maps and gear spawns as it should be just my opinion
