Sara post-Grissom
What do you guys think about Sara when she gets brought back after Grissom leaves ? For meg personally she feels extremely static and she doesn't get to do much or really interact with anyone and feels kind of bland overall, a bit of a far cry from how she was originally.

I wanted sooo badly to like Finlay.
I couldn't manage it. I'd spent, what, 11 years with Nick Stokes and Sara Sidle and Catherine Willows, but in waltzs this new character who, in my view, just got WAY too much attention and screentime. Like, we lose most of the lab techs, sideline established characters who still have room for exploration and growth, and suddenly it's Shuuuuueeee are you.
I just couldn't bring myself to care about her, which made her major involvement in storylines just... irritating.
And trust, I don't feel great about this opinion. She's a fine actor. I just cannot bring myself to care, not when I grew up with terrific characters like Gil Grissom and Nick Stokes and Catherine Willows and David Phillips, only to have a new arrival take the spotlight.
Am I the only one who feels this way? I hope she gets a decent amount of fandom love.

I hate Sara Sidel
This is exactly the title I just need to rant (mostly about the writing). Iām rewatching for the 10th something time, and MAN! I hate Sara! Her character on its own is fine, I guess, but she just is so out of place. Her backstory and characterization is really cool! But itās so badly done, she just comes off as a bitch.
And like I get that the cold side is part of how sheās written, but then sheās also written as an overly empathetic and kind person. The scene in Evaluation Day (season 1, episode 22), where she buries the ashes of a poached gorilla always gets me teary because itās such a gentle moment that holds a lot of power. And it shows her character well, she wants to right things in the world and gets frustrated when she canāt.
But then, in earlier episodes, she is just straight up a bitch towards Warrick who, yes isnāt telling her everything, but he doesnāt owe it to her.
Oh and the romance with Grissom never worked for me. Maybe itās an age thing or how I perceive it, but she is so much less mature when it comes to everything and it doesnāt work at all with the very organized, perfectionist that Grissom is.
Now all this to say, her actress is phenomenal, and my enjoyment of the show is only slightly affected, but I just hate how poorly her character is written.
They had a cool idea, and cool storylines, and then wrote it in wingdings

What Were The Most Confusing Plots In CSI?
Any suggestions?

Does anyone remember CSI: Hidden Crimes?
Unfortunately, the game was removed from the Play Store and App Store in 2019, but fortunately it survives through APKs, where I was able to download it and start playing but I wanted to ask you something.
The game has 61 episodes in total: 48 main episodes spread across 2 seasons and 13 special episodes. I'm currently on episode 12, but I wanted to ask if you'd like me to upload each episode as I finish it (you know, the crime scene, victim, suspects, and killer). It takes me between 1-2 days to finish an episode. However, I would start uploading episodes from episode 13 onwards, and I would also upload them in Spanish. So, I'd like to know your opinions. Would you like that? š

What actually was the relationship between Lady Heather and Grissom?
Forgive me if it was expressed and I donāt remember. Iām re watching right now and on S6 E 15 Pirates of the Third Reich and Lady Heather and Grissomās scene chemistry is so good. And we know that Grissom is neurodivergent and he never outright expresses or plays around with relationships, but wasnāt he with Sarah at this time, too?

S6e20 poppin tags
The guy dollar says he left a Sean john party and got abducted was in a bikini with a gun to his head and forced to say stuff.
Diddy and the theories around his blackmail tactics used against male rappers and industry people immediately came to mind.
Anyone else notice this recently

Which other series are worth the watch?
Apart from the obvious NCIS which Iāve watched a dozen times for around 15 years , Iāve also watched any cross overs. I couldnāt get into New Orleans. I watched some NCis Los Angeles. But I am a big fan of the way NCIS solve the crimes itās more Forensics than action and it sort of has a comedy factor over the years. I enjoyed NCIS Origins and Tony and ziva although quite far fetched and futuristic it was nice to see the comedy bouncing off each other aspect of Tony and ziva. I have enjoyed the series Tracker and also the Rookie. Is Sydney any good. There has been so many over the years I just havenāt got stuck into any.

It puts the lotion in the basket
Really wish they use these two all throughout the series as re-occurring characters witnessing crimes and always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Without anything bad happening to them, of course.
(Lori) Shonda Farr and (Anna Leah) Keri Lynn Pratt, great duo in this series.
"He was way weird! I thought that he was gonna pull a Silence of the Lambs on me and say... it puts the lotion in the basket..." š§š«¤šš¤

CSI NY 4x7
So I decided to just start watching CSI Cohen, New York around this episode for whatever reason. And of course, someone dies in the beginning, and it turns out the person who died was accused of rape. So the victim is brought in and immediately Flack is screaming at her and blaming her and just tearing her down. It kind of pissed me off, why do they think this was OK. Maybe the purpose was he was just doing that to try to get a scare out of her, but it was terrible to watch. Honestly, it was handled terribly.

David Caruso's first appearance in the CSI universe. A subtle, yet great scene.
"My name is Horatio Caine. I'm the head of the crime unit. Horatio? Yeah. That's a funny name, isn't it? My mother named me after a famous writer named Horatio Alger. Ever hear of him?
Iās your badge real? Yeah. Yeah, that's real. My daddy's a policeman. I know that. I knew that. They're looking for me, you know.
Meā, too. Me, too. What do you say we sit here and get found together?"

Grissom has and always had a favorite
Aside from his love interest with Sara and "right hand" dynamic with Catherine, it was always Warrick. From mentor to father figure.
Sara: "You know there is no where in the world that he would've rather be in the end... he loved you."
Grissom: "Yeah... I loved him."

Celebrating 26 Years of Crime Scene Investigation
Twenty-six years ago, a groundbreaking series revolutionized prime-time television and changed the crime drama genre forever. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation brought the detailed world of forensic science out of the shadows and directly into our living rooms, turning night shifts, flashlight beams, soundscapes, and digital evidence into an absolute art form.
From the meticulous brilliance of Gil Grissom and Ray Langston to the steady leadership of D.B. Russell, each supervisor brought a unique philosophy to the Las Vegas Crime Lab. Along with iconic leaders like Catherine Willows, Sara Sidle, Nick Stokes, and captain Jim Brass, they proved that while people can lie, the evidence never does.
This franchiseās heart was always built on its incredible ensembleāboth out in the field and working behind the scenes in the lab. Weāll never forget:
* The unforgettable bond and tragic journey of Warrick Brown.
* The evolution of Greg Sanders from quip-heavy lab rat to seasoned CSI.
* The brilliant lab techs who made every analysis entertaining: Hodges, Wendy, Henry, Mandy, and Archie.
* The essential field experts like ballistics technician Bobby Dawson, detective Sofia Curtis, and guest investigators like Mike Kepler.
* The bureau chiefs like Conrad Ecklie and CSIs like Morgan Brody.
The legacy didn't stop there. The story continued to evolve in CSI: Vegas, carrying the torch into the modern era with a phenomenal new generation led by Maxine Robby, alongside Allie Rajan, Penny, Joshua Folsom, and the return of familiar faces to help solve complex cases.
Through hundreds of mysteries, tragic twists, unforgettable villains, and groundbreaking science, the CSI universe gave us stories that kept us on the edge of our seats. Today, we celebrate 26 years of incredible characters, sharp writing, and the enduring legacy of a team that taught us all to follow the evidence!
Happy 26th Anniversary to CSI!

Professional curiosity, I guess.
One of my favorite comedic relief episode. Some of the very rare occurrences of Grissom having fun and laughing. Brings me great joy to see him happy! Especially since Sara just left, not knowing when/if she'll return. From 8x8 You Kill Me Of course, bonus points if you know the episode!
Hodges: "Wait, wait, wait... they all wanna watch?"
Grissom: "Professional curiosity, I guess."

Favorite character(s)
I know I just posted something but I wanted to see what your favorite character or characters are. My favorite character is definitely Gil Grissom, as I feel like Iām a carbon copy of him just in a younger body. Iām not deeply fascinated with bugs as he is but I just have this feeling that Grissom is autistic but I donāt see any official confirmation.

Original CSI
Does anyone know where I can stream the original CSI without any missing episodes? I am on season 7 right now and Iām watching on Pluto TV but the first episode shown on the app for this season is actually episode 3 Toe Tags.
Also, while weāre on the topic, I feel like the near-tragedy with Brass was brushed over like it was nothing and rushed. Like hey, I just experienced a Code Blue after surgery but Iām opening my eyes and I can talk to Grissom like nothing happened.
