Guy on FB just wanted it gone. Almost died twice trying to get it out of that guys basement and brought down into mine. Only thing I had study enough to put it on was an old end table which will do for now. Got the N64 running though S-Video and it looks great!

So I picked these 2 Toshiba CRTs for free! They were my first CRTs and I was hooked right away. A week later I found a 32 in zenith on the side of the road. Now I had 3 CRTs and I was stoked.

Then I learned about Sony trinitrons and I found someone willing to trade my 22in dvd combo Toshiba for a 27 in trinitron.I had 3 CRTS all for free one of them being a Trinitron , I couldn’t be happier.
I traded my zenith for a PlayStation 2

Then my Trinitron collapsed vertically and died. I was so devastated and sad so I gave it away. Then I got super lucky and found a 32-inch Trinitron for free ! So now I’m gonna get rid of my Toshiba and just stick with my Trinitron and a plasma tv I also got for free.

Moral of the story don’t spend crazy amounts of money on these TVs just gotta be crazy and check marketplace every minute until you find what you’re looking for 😂

Never heard of a dual dvd vhs tv and that brand neither im I being hoaxed or this is a grail?

Guys I've seen this widescreen monochrome portables for first time and that's the 11" blue ones. I'm planning to buy the grey 9" and white 4:3 ones for inr 1300₹. Is it worth it? The 4:3 is working for a second and turns off. The widescreen isn't even turning on and I'm really ready to work with it if fbt yoke tube is okay.

BTW the only other image I've found is another post of 16:9 TV on north india for 9000inr around 100$. Well what you guys think? If anybody has schematic related to this widescreen ones, let me know

I'm looking to buy this CRT TV on Facebook Marketplace soon. Is it possible to convert this to RCA so I can plug in a combo DVD/VHS player to this? I know this model is made more for gaming.

Found the TV on Craigslist, this gentleman had this tv listing up for 6 months because this was priced at $325… welp I offered him $70 to pick up immediately. He took it, and even offered me the vcr & some vhs’ for $40. He was a very nice gentleman and explained that he hadn’t used it very much and didn’t want it taking up space, so I helped him move and set up a new set up (he’s 75 and not very mobile) and as I was looking through the vhs’ we would share stories about why we liked the movie I picked or it was him telling me “take it! That movie needs to be seen my young people!”

Did I unintentionally swindle this man? (I know nothing about crt tvs)

So I found this 27 inch philips CRT. (I think it's 27 not sure). And It turns on but only one of the speaker works and every 2-3 second weird lines appear for milliseconds. I tried recording it. Not sure if it's visible. What could cause this ?

Hello, we found a Grundig P25-449/12 with CUC 4200 chassis at a street market. Unfortunately, the Cinch-AV input stopped working after a day or two and its showing only this when switched to AV:

We already had a look at the soldering of the cinch sockets, these seemed not to be loose. Any ideas what could cause this, and how to fix it?

Leaving my apartment this afternoon, spied this beauty sitting in the sunshine. Had an untested Game Cube that I just got cables for the other day...looks like everything works!

I know it’s kind of spammy, but I’m at my wits end. I just want a compact CRT, preferably a VHS combo, but any will do. I’ve tried marketplace but they all think it’s worth its weight in silver.
I appreciate they are no longer produced, but I can’t fathom paying more than $50-$60 for one.

Hi all,

I’ve connected my PC to my CRT TV using an HDMI-to-SCART adapter so I can watch some old TV shows.

The problem is that, where I live, some 4:3 shows are only available to stream in a 16:9 format, with black bars added to the sides of the original 4:3 picture.

When I output this to my 4:3 CRT, I end up with a small image surrounded by black bars on all four sides.

What I’m looking for is a device that can zoom or crop the incoming video signal so that the actual 4:3 picture fills the entire CRT screen.

Can anyone recommend a device that can do this?
