Predicted MLB Draft Changes

These are from Chris Burke on his podcast with Mike Rooney. He said college baseball coaches think this will be the result after a CBA is agreed to: (1) the draft will be shortened to 12 rounds (down from 20; (2) high school players will still be eligible; (3) college players will be eligible after their sophomore season; and (4) all picks will be slotted.

That way there are can a LOT more UDFAs for less $$.
