I am not sure if it's only when Don scores but I just watched a highlight of the Timb-Cavs game and everytime the whole bench is hyped af while Mario seems to be not bothered at all... There was one shot where he was like admitting that it was a tough one but other than that it seems like he does not want to celebrate. Maybe I interpret to much into it but just something observed. Also could be a regular thing because of his time overseas and his more mature art nowadays compared to his first stint in the NBA

Thomas came in last night ready to play in the NBA ! He was confident , skilled and able to score an amazing 16 points in his debut. I think Proctor has a lot of skills too , but to me he seems as if he's not quite sure where he is on the court and what he's supposed to be doing there. He doesn't seem to have that same level of aggressiveness that Thomas showed. I hope Proctors able to see that and learn from it. Am I wrong? ( this is Reddit - of course I'm wrong! And I'm sure someone or more will be glad to tell me how)

Two incorrect calls in our favor. The Harden foul is whatever, he got the arm and it should have been called but it wasn’t much contact and refs often let them play at the end (I don’t agree with that, but that’s how it is). The Mitchell one bugs me, he needs to be better in those moments, nearly gave the game away being careless.

This stuff evens out so enjoy the good luck and try to remember this when we’re on the other side of it.

After Meleek Thomas dropped 16 points in his Cavs debut against Minnesota, I looked up how that compares to other late draft picks.

Here are the highest NBA regular-season debut totals I found for players drafted 34th overall or later:

1. Gordan Giriček — 29 points (40th pick, 1999)

2. Nick Van Exel — 23 points (37th pick, 1993)

3. John “Hot Rod” Williams — 22 points (45th pick, 1985)

4. Dillon Brooks — 19 points (45th pick, 2017)

5. Ledell Eackles — 19 points (36th pick, 1988)

6. Jake Layman — 17 points (47th pick, 2016)

7. Mario Chalmers — 17 points (34th pick, 2008)

8. RaiQuan Gray — 16 points (59th pick, 2021)

9. Sasha Danilović — 16 points (43rd pick, 1992)

10. Richard Dumas — 16 points (46th pick, 1991)

11. Meleek Thomas — 16 points (34th pick, 2026)

Thomas went 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-5 from three in 19 minutes against Minnesota.

This is my site, I just made it. Feedback's appreciated. This is not AI, it's natural language processing.

I know opinions on him are mixed but we seen it against the pistons he hit really huge threes in the clutch

He’s clutch. Proved that during playoffs and yesterday too. I really want him to be our #1 option in 4th Quarter.

meleek thomas has been impressive so far. i feel he can definitely be a great piece to our rotation. coach kenny has to be able to utilize him during key parts of the game. i see him flourishing with the 2nd unit for sure. thoughts?

One of the best first pressers I’ve seen by an NBA rookie. Dude has a great head on his shoulders and seems so sure of himself. Bright future ahead.

Dazn buffer for anyone else all night during the game?

EDIT - if you watched directly through the DAZN app

Once you understand his journey to the NBA you’ll understand the hype. Pretty easy dude to root for.

Does anyone know which games the 2 free tickets could be for? I just want to make sure I can actually go to one of these games. I understand that they might all be Wednesday games against who cares, but I work later in the day and want to make sure I'm not working.

If anyone has a list of the games they were able to choose from, that would be helpful.

Side bar about my frustration:

The help AI is horrible.

First it tried to tell me that the $119 season pass does not include the tickets when it clearly states that, I had to send a picture of another device that had it included. Once I got connected to a "person," which literally gave me copy/paste AI responses, said I would receive an e-mail 7 days after purchase to choose which games I could go to. If I can't tell what games I could choose from, I'll just continue to watch them 🏴‍☠️ and spend my money on tickets to a game I can make sure I can go to.

Not the crossover we’d expect, but one that’d make a lot of fans happy! If y’all don’t know, Thursday (10/29) State Farm Arena got double booked for the 6th WNBA finals game between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream and the Cavs vs. Hawks game. The solution they came up with was to do a double header with the WNBA game at 12:30pm and the NBA game at 8:00pm. Unsurprisingly, W fans are displeased, especially Valks fans in PT where the game will start at 9:30am on a weekday.

Since ATL apparently could not be trusted to come to a sensible solution the Cavs could swoop in and save the day!
insert all the caveats about knowing it’s more complex than this but hoping nonetheless

Another DAZN vent post. I am willing to pay a subscription to watch the Cavs, so I added DAZN to my Amazon Prime subscription and somehow the game tonight is still unavailable, even through the subscription within Prime.

Why did I subscribe through Amazon? I am still feeling the PTSD of trying to watch directly in the Fan Duel app which had constant lagging and delayed audio (and no, it's not my internet speeds, everything is hardwired with fiber). From what I've read, DAZN has the same issues. Watching through Prime was the only tolerable way to watch them.

Tried to sign up directly with DAZN and it's throwing an error now and won't let me sign up.

I hate this so much, definitely not subscribing now. Eat shit DAZN. Go Cavs.

Any other options to watch other than this trash service?

15 games are free this year correct? How do I access them? I downloaded the app and it wants me to pick a subscription option or start a 7 day free trial. Will the 15 free games just pop up on the app at their tip-off?

I got an email from Cavs rewards offering 2 free tickets to tonight and wednesdays games. I had no idea they drop random free tickets like this. Don’t really have a question except did anybody get any? I guess PSA, keep your eyes open. FWIW it was sent to my promotions folder in Gmail and I saw it about 45 minutes later and they were all claimed, bummer.

Edit: if you haven’t signed up for Cavs rewards yet, you can do so here using my referral code, note that you do not need a referral. https://www.cavsrewards.com/auth?ref=Xbd49

I have a quarter season package and my dad has a full season and a half season package (don’t ask). Other than listing on Seatgeek, where buyers have to spend a ton on fees, looking for other places to sell online. Facebook used to have some ticket groups but they seem to be way less active now. I don’t see a dedicated Reddit page either for ticket sales.

On a smart TV, DAZN is just constantly buffering and the frame rate is about 5 frames per second. The audio is a full 2 seconds ahead. This would be maddening even if was free, but $125 later I’m livid.

The man seems to bring skills we need to both ends of the floor - an athletic, sizable big with solid fundamentals
