[Question] A question about the dragons
Miria mentions that the organization's objective on the island is to manage to control the Awakening, since although they created Claymores on the continent, they ended up awakening and could be considered lost.
Taking into account that the war has been going on for at least 100 years, I wonder how the dragons' enemies have fought up until now, specifically, whether they produce their own claymores on the continent or if all the machinery to create them is on the island and from there, they take some claymores to fight on the continent.
This is because even if the claymores awaken, their powers are the only thing that could match those of the dragons, so they would be their best resources.

The Dragons are both the claymores AND the Awakened. They have 2 forms, base form is already bigger and stronger than the average human (aka claymore-ish), second form is the giant monster (aka Awakened Being). They don't need to develop claymores, claymores were developed to mimic what they have from the start.

the Dragons are the enemy of the organization. The already exist but the whole Claymore project was whoever is behind the organization looking for a way to steal their enemy's strength. Claymores are made from the Dragons, they are not the same.

OP was hypothising that the Dragon side had to produce their own claymores to fight the organization's side. I commented that they didn't need to do that since the Dragons were the origin of claymores themselves. I used their terminology not the general terminology.

The organization was only trying to make weapons for humanity’s sake by creating the Claymores but ultimately they failed. Because the Claymores rebelled and wanted nothing to do with the war on the mainland. But I’m almost certain that they were sending reports to the mainland about their progress over the generations. The mainland as the organizers have stated were hanging on so in my eyes that means humanity was losing the war. Though some other scientific breakthrough could still happen to turn the tide but we don’t know the mainland’s technology may be further beyond the research island’s. So it would be nice to see if the dragons came to the island what would the Claymores do; would they abandon the humans or would they fight so that their island could have some semblance of peace?

So I think they actually started on the main continent. The island is where they do multiple generations of testing for quality.
As we know, normal awakened beings attack indiscriminately on the continental battlefield.
