Hi,
I've been playing 6 string fretless bass for years now, and recently picked up the classical guitar, and I've found a lot of the "beginners guide to classical guitar" content is painfully easy, I can imap, know my scales, the fingerboard etc, some chordal knowledge, as you'd expect as some technique between more technical bass playing and the classical guitar overlap. Does anyone have any advice and resources that aren't completely easy, but aren't advanced either, or am I better off just going through all the simple beginner material regardless?

This Sunday, I'm opening the doors to SmĂðastaðr, my newly created recording and practice studio, for my first livestream.
I'm inviting fellow classical guitarists and music enthusiasts to join me in the practice room.
No editing. No rehearsed program. Just a classical guitarist at workâexploring repertoire, working through musical ideas, solving interpretive problems, making mistakes, and discovering what happens between the first note and the finished performance.
I'll share some of the thinking behind my interpretations, discuss the music I'm working on, and answer questions along the way.
SmĂðastaðr is Old Norse for âplace of making.â It's where my music, writing, and ideas take shape.

This is the first installment of Inside the Practice Room, a new weekly livestream from After The Last Note.
Bring your coffee, your questions, and your curiosity.
I'll bring the guitar.
