Found in Edgewater near Clark and Granville. Who do I call/report to about this?
Edit: this was found in the bushes outside my front door and shared with my neighbor. I’ve contacted my neighbors and they confirmed it is not theirs. I assume stolen just bc it was dumped in bushes and hidden. I’m not close enough to CTA that maybe a commuter stashed it there. I am near Hayt elementary so maybe someone stashed while at school but it’s quite a large bike for elementary school kids.

Just wanted to post this for anyone looking to take Amtrak from Milwaukee to the Chicago area (or vice-versa) on the Hiawatha line. I rode by bike up to Milwaukee from Chicago last week and decided to take the train home the following day instead of riding home. I purchased a ticket + bike (+$5) from my phone for the Hiawatha leaving from downtown Milwaukee to Glenview, IL (closer to my home in Chicago than downtown). I was super nervous about it since this was my first time bringing my bike on Amtrak and I found a lot of different, sometimes contradictory info, online beforehand (some said you'd need to remove the front wheel, others said you didn't, etc.).
Despite a very much increased TSA presence at the station in Milwaukee due to the World Series, it was VERY easy. The staff at Milwaukee were extremely helpful and whisked me and another rider past security (with no checks) before everyone else got on the train. The place they had set up for bikes (converted luggage rack) was in the front car which was the Quiet Car, and we were told to board and then wheel our bikes down the train to that car. Again, very easy and the aisle was roomy. The rack was all set and we just hung our bikes from the rack by the front wheel. I used a knee warmer so my carbon wheel would not get scratched but it probably wasn't necessary. I also removed my rear saddlebag, but probably could have kept it attached. If you have side panniers those would probably need to come off for sure. They gave plenty of warning before Glenview (train only stops there for 60 sec, so you need to be ready) and I got the bike down a couple minutes beforehand, and stepped off (ask the conductor to ensure the door on your car will indeed open if getting off in the burbs). Quiet Car was very comfortable and modern with a 1 seat-aisle-2 seat config, and I got a single seat by the window. Anyway, highly recommend - great way to get a 100 miler in and get home if you're not up for 2-100s in a couple days.
Edit to add: You DO need to purchase the bike supplement at the time you buy your ticket (mine was $27 + $5 for bike)
(Pic of my bike in the train as well as before the trip for reference.)
