Do you Believe that Cher & Madonna will collab on Confessions II?
The rumors are building that Cher may collab with Madonna on a remix of One Step Away from the Confessions II album.
During Cher’s recent British Vogue interview, she was asked about plans for new music and replied:
“I’m about to make an album, but I’m also about to make a song—the craziest collab ever. I can’t talk about it, but it’s great. It’s a collab nobody would think about. But they wouldn’t think, that’s too crazy.”
Insiders say the two are recording fresh vocals to elevate the track into what could become the dance anthem of the decade.

Discussion thread about potential new Cher music on the horizon
There was a previous post about this but it used an image suspected of being AI, which is against our subreddit rules so it's been removed. Here is the quote from the end of the recent interview she gave to Vogue magazine:
[Q] I’m going to end our time together (sadly) by asking about new music. Will we be getting any new material or songs anytime soon?
[A] I’m about to make an album, but I’m also about to make a song—the craziest collab ever. I can’t talk about it, but it’s great. It’s a collab nobody would think about. But they wouldn’t think, That’s too crazy.
Many of the rumors centered around Madonna who has sprung surprise collaborations as duet 'Afterhours versions' for some of her new music, with artists such as Kylie Minogue and Charli XCX. But there's been nothing confirmed as of yet. So use this post to discuss who you think Cher might be working with, or who you would like to see her work with.

Do you have a favorite Cher cover of a Bob Dylan song?
I'm not sure I realized how many of these she did, I counted ten while scrolling through the wiki article List of songs recorded by Cher, which is a great and comprehensive resource. She did all of these in the 60s, unless there are more that I didn't find (if so let me know and I'll add them in).
| year | song | album |
|---|---|---|
| 1965 | All I Really Want To Do | All I Really Want To Do |
| 1965 | Don't Think Twice, It's All Right | All I Really Want To Do |
| 1965 | Blowin' In The Wind | All I Really Want To Do |
| 1965 | Like A Rolling Stone | The Sonny Side of Chér |
| 1966 | I Want You | Chér |
| 1967 | The Times They Are a-Changin' | With Love, Chér |
| 1968 | Masters Of War | Backstage |
| 1969 | Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You | 3614 Jackson Highway |
| 1969 | I Threw It All Away | 3614 Jackson Highway |
| 1969 | Lay, Baby, Lay | 3614 Jackson Highway |

Is there a coffee table style book of Cher and her Bob Mackie wardrobe?
I keep watching YouTube compilations of all the amazing costumes Bob Mackie made for her, looking for a beautiful coffee table style book to add to my home, hoping it exists 🤞🏻

The Cher Show
Does anyone know where I can watch or downlaod the entirety of the Cher Show? It is so hard to find full episodes let alone the entire run.

Is there any hope for the “Take Me Home” and “Prisoner” albums to be remastered just like “I Paralyze”?
I'm currently updating my local Cher discography and I forgot how extremely low those two excellent albums sound and it's driving me nuts lmao.
The 2024 remaster of Take Me Home on the Forever Fan compilation sounds delicious so I'm guessing we may get remastered versions of those albums at some point, right? I also know Cher isn't particularly fond of her Disco era but c'mon!! A gay man needs Cher's Disco albums loud and proud!!

Do you think she's gonna make another comeback with this possible new album?
Cher has spoken many times that after her memoir she wish's to make a new album at 80 years old, Do you think its possible for this pop icon to do it again? Show that Cher is ahead of the game no matter what age...
And of course be the oldest pop star ever with a 1# record?
I think she can... She just needs to play her cards right.

Cher Concert Live in Melbourne November 1990 - Sky Channel Broadcast
I'm posting on behalf of u/ltm1997 because they don't have enough karma
Hi all,
I am on the hunt for a rare 1990 live concert broadcast of Cher's November 1990 concert at the National Tennis Centre in Melbourne. It was shown only once, live and uncut, on the Sky Channel and I am hoping someone out there taped and saved it in their collections that would be willing to share a copy with me. I have been scouring the web for over a decade now in search of this performance. Attached is a clip of the concert posted to YouTube last year. If your copy is still in analog format and would need help digitizing your footage, please let me know. I would be glad to take care of digitizing it for you!
I really hope someone can help me with this! If you'd rather remain anonymous, feel free to DM me on here and I will remain discreet.
Thanks in advance!
