All P5 teams are now availble as flairs!
After a couple of weeks of dragging my feet, I finally re-sized every P5 logo into a usable flair image. They are available for selection from the sidebar on Old Reddit (click the "edit flair" link, just above the description about this subreddit and the sidebar picture). Make to check the box that says "Show my flair on this subreddit." Text-based flairs are still available for those who root for a non-P5 team.
Note: If you currently have a text flair and are switching over to an image flair, you may find that your image flair is being covered up by your old text flair. If this issue occurs, please leave a comment in this thread and I will clear your flair for you, at which point you will be able to select whichever flair you like (and it will look normal). I tried to manually clear every flair, but it proved to be taking too much time.

Injury Kamari Moulton Out for Season. START 1!
I’m trying to decide now- who do I start instead in WRT flex?
- Isaac Brown RB (Louisville) vs. Stanford
- Nolan James Jr. RB (Notre Dame) @Navy
- Fame Ijeboi RB (Purdue) @Penn State
- Gavin Freeman WR (Baylor) @UCF
I’m leaning James Jr. highest floor so far this season. What do you think?

Start C.Odom (Ole Miss) or R.Beers (Oklahoma)
Got Luke Reynolds on bye. I have beers right now but Ole Miss is the better offence and might be a better matchup. Wanted to see what everyone else thought

Worth dropping anyone for Ahmad miller?
Is it worth dropping anyone here for this Syracuse back Ahmad miller? Didn’t get the ASU or BC rb off waivers like I hoped. Got This Illinois guy but didn’t realize house was out for the season at the time.

Getting absolutely toasted rn
Just here to cry boys. Benched Kari Ashley. Benched Treydez Green. Douglas laid an egg. How do you only target him twice the entire game AND lose to Stanford?? J’Koby is a fraud. Nick marsh looked great for 2 plays then they never threw him the ball again. Moulton just got hurt. I was projected to win big but that’s college football. Just ouch. That’s what makes college football so exciting though! Meanwhile my opp is having a career weekend on every front🙃

Troublesome TE decisions
So, Kari Ashley is listed as Questionable. On a Thursday, that’s troubling.
Currently I have all 3 of these guys rostered.
I swapped Preston Douglas in for Ashley but I have time to change my mind.
Green is tempting, but it’s his first game back and I’m thinking I’d like to give him a week to knock off the rust. Looks like Lane Kiffin’s thinking the exact same thing bringing Green back for the Auburn matchup before LSU takes on Bama next week.
What would you do at TE in my position and why?
2 Flex Starts
Start 2 between Joe Jackson vs Ariz St, Jekail Middlebrook vs Duke, Dierre Hill vs Illinois, Isaiah Mizell vs Iowa St.
Is Jackson going to get the bulk of the carries or was last game just hot hand. What is Gio Richardson’s injury status for Arizona. Middlebrook getting more touches but not sure about UVA offense. Who knows what Oregon is doing. I’ve got lots of byes, so I’m trying to piece together a team. Thanks.

Anyone that might be on the wire I should be looking for instead? Sit/start suggestions?

Hardy
Drafted both hardy and Roberts. With Robert’s going nuclear and hardy still not practicing, is he a hold? He’s on IL but as others start to get hurt he could be cleared in favor of keeping someone else.
I thought he was a league winner when I drafted him but now I’m unsure if he will even play this year. Thoughts?

Emergency Flex Help
Just found out the Nate Sheppard is questionable for Saturday. I am going to put him on IR then decide later if I want to insert him into my starting lineup based on injury reports (if I can find any). My bench players are on bye or have bad matchups. Which of these guys might be a good option if it looks like Sheppard is going to sit: Micah Ford vs Elon, Caden High vs Elon, Jekail Middlebrook vs SMU, Trae'shawn Brown vs Tenn, Bryant Wesco vs Charleston Southern. It's a .5 PPR Power 4 league. The waiver wire is pretty slim. Thanks.
Look Here! Who Are the Best 2027 & 2028 Dynasty Prospects? | 2-Round Mock Draft
We're six weeks into the college football season, and we're starting to see some of the warts in the 2027 class. Naturally, that means everyone's already looking ahead to 2028.
The next class is always better, right? Right?
For the latest episode of Devy Dojo, we decided to throw both classes on one board and run a 2-roundd, 24-pick mock draft.
A few things that stood out from our discussions:
- Darian Mensah vs. Keelon Russell: Chris and Benny are leaning Mensah as QB1, but I'm taking Russell. I love Mensah, but Russell gives me that same high-level processing with a significantly higher rushing ceiling. The distance from the NFL is a legitimate consideration, though.
- Arch Manning at 1.09: Chris made the pick, but I'm having a hard time buying into Arch at this point. We're in year four, and the same concerns with his processing and mechanics are still showing up. How much longer are we going to lean on the pedigree and projected draft capital?
- Nick Marsh vs. Charlie Becker: Chris and I have been going back and forth on these two all season. Through six weeks, they had the exact same 529 receiving yards on 41 targets. I still lean Marsh because of his route running and ability to create after the catch, but Becker has certainly made this interesting.
- Nate Sheppard vs. Ousmane Kromah: This one might be a little controversial, but I'm taking Sheppard. I see the physical upside with Kromah, but I need to see more creativity as a runner. Sheppard might not have the same physical profile, but the guy consistently creates yards and makes defenders miss to go along with excellent vision and ballerina feet (yes that is a compliment).
We also got into Jadan Baugh, Kamario Taylor, Trinidad Chambliss, Malachi Toney, Reed Harris, and plenty of others..
One thing I've always preached with Devy is valuing proximity to the NFL. If two prospects are close in my evaluation, I'm generally taking the guy who's going to reach the league sooner. But there are certainly exceptions.
I'm curious where everyone stands on these two classes right now. Which 2028 prospects are you comfortable taking over the top names in 2027?

CFFB Week 7 rankings: Nate Sheppard, Sam Leavitt climb
Hey folks. I'm relatively new to the CFFB game. I publish rankings and positional outlooks of my ranks every week. Would appreciate feedback about the info provided and what's most useful, not useful to you guys. Needed, not needed. Thanks to anybody who takes the time!
Summary:
Nate Sheppard takes over as the top FLEX option in the Week 7 rankings, while favorable matchups drive big jumps for Sam Leavitt and Eli Finley.
FLEX/RB: Sheppard's heavy workload and matchup with North Carolina push him to No. 1, though his injury needs monitoring. Jamal Roberts ranks RB2, while Fame Ijeboi climbs to RB5 after a 195-yard, three-touchdown performance.
QB: Michael Hawkins Jr. remains QB1 thanks to his rushing production and favorable Cincinnati matchup. Brad Jackson ranks second against Colorado State, while Leavitt jumps from QB41 to QB3 against Mississippi State's vulnerable pass defense.
WR: Jeremiah Smith remains WR1 but slips to FLEX2 against Indiana's strong defense. Malachi Toney returns from Miami's bye at WR2 against Florida State, followed by Kelby Valsin and Umari Hatcher.
TE: Finley rises to TE1 against UL Monroe's nation-worst scoring defense. Patrick Overmyer and Luke Reynolds round out the top three.
Team units: Miami leads the offense rankings ahead of Oregon State and Nebraska. Utah tops the defenses against Colorado, followed by New Mexico and South Florida.

Week 7 Start/Sit
Anyone I should switch out for this week? Lmk.
Alright, this week I'm playing against Jeremiah Smith. This might be one of my tough weeks. I want Toney to shift into another gear at some point.
I was so disappointed in how Haynes and Overton played their last two games...
Dickey is out with an injury and his return time is uncertain. It's unfortunate, but at the same time Williams could be elevated to a RB1 role, unless it's still a split with Joyner.
