Discussion Rebrand
Founder of a small hemp CBD company here. How did you rebuild after changing your business entity/brand?

Biggest lesson from helping brands through this: don't let the old name vanish overnight. Keep 'formerly [old name]' on the site, packaging, and socials for at least 6 months so repeat customers and search traffic carry over.
Practical checklist:
Set up 301 redirects from every old URL to its closest new page. If the domain changes, add the new one in Google Search Console and use the Change of Address tool.
Email your list before the switch and again at launch. Your list converts better than anything you'll build from scratch.
Re-underwrite your payment processing early. A new entity usually means a new merchant application, and CBD is high risk, so approvals take longer than people expect.
Update your COAs, labels, and any directory or marketplace listings so the entity name matches everywhere. Mismatches cause trust problems and sometimes compliance headaches.
Claim the new social handles before you announce anything.
If you want a second set of eyes, I do websites and marketing for hemp and cannabis brands. Happy to look at your setup and point out what to fix first, no charge. Message me if you want to talk it through.
