As I mentioned above I die constantly when I encounter zombies. I'm a newbie but I understand the basic systems fairly well Do you guys have any tips to make the game more enjoyable? What weapons armor and items should I craft to make the game easier?
Left arm wont stop bleeding despite no indication of it bleeding in the hud other than the notification. Tried normalizing body stats, setting health and causing the said arm to bleed and bandaging it afterwards in the debug menu, but nothing stops the bleeding. Tried wearing the tourniquet but the game says that I don't need need it to stop bleeding (lol). Am I missing something? How could I fix it? If I just wait my character bleeds out, tried save scumming but last save is after the bleeding already started :/
If I put my crafting spot on "C" and two rows of warehouse shelves on "S" will I be able to access all the items from crafting. Also will I be able to access fridges on the right corner for cooking.
In game you can reach up to 6 tiles away for crafting or using tools ,but it is unclear to me if you need line of sight.
What is the difference between the two ? It looks like Enhanced NVGs allow you to see heat signatures as well beyond the night vision capabilities or do you see only heat signatures?
Hello I was wondering if anyone knows which version to download so i don't have to deal with "little scratches" and constant medium pain level. This is ridiculous and unplayable. Ty.
Was doing something on a bridge, kevlar hulk shows up . After shooting at it and running away it disappeared on it's own. I even got a message "The Kevlar Hulk disappears"
Spawned at an evac shelter just east of this screenshot. Contained in the area i searched on the way to the refugee center is a scrapper and a gunsmith. After I made it to the evac center I immediately found another gunsmith and that's where I took the screenshot from.
Guess we're doing a trade playthrough. Gonna set up my base at the cabin just south of the entrenched to the refugee center (where the vehicle is parked)
What's your take on npc in general? most people use them strictly for crafting and building and not as combat companions, why? In my current run on the 0.I stable version. I tried to use an npc as my combat buddy and they're not so bad.
My character has the fragile trait so its better to not get hit at all, i geared them up with basic cotton clothes and a body armor from zombie cops or zombie swat etc.
For a weapon i gave them a cudgel, its fast and since they cannot kite zombies i think its better to give them a weapon that has parry or block abilities no?
I think its not that hard to make them capable combatants, the micro-management is not that annoying either, let alone complicated, i think its easy to manage.
I was checking out the new GitHub PRs this morning and scrolled down to the comments only to see this:
I didn't even know my jaw could drop that low :p
Anyways, I got curious and decided to look into what happened since I barely use my social media accounts and have only ever made two comments on GitHub in the past two years. The comment that got me in trouble was this one:
It was marked as off-topic which I can understand but getting blocked over something like this feels a bit unnecessary.
Out of curiosity, I also checked the rules for commenting and here's what they say:
I've been following CDDA's development with awe for the past six years. I've checked out every PR that caught my interest and quietly waited for it to get merged, all from the sidelines. Honestly I should've kept it that way...
Anyways... I just wanted to vent a little about how disappointed I am. Even if the block gets lifted, I don't think I'll be interacting with CDDA community anytime soon. See y'all later o7
I got attacked by a dermatik and got a bunch of limb scratches as apart of the new wound system released a little over 2 weeks ago.
I disinfected and bandaged each one individually (took forever), and even after a few days the wounds would not heal. Mind you, my character also has regeneration so they should have healed after a day. This didn't happen, and my character was left with crippling pain despite having the deadened mutation (should feel no pain).
I tried using the debug menu to heal, and nothing I've tried has worked, even the debug regeneration.
I looked at the change log and I guess this is apart of a new limb wound system. This new system has a few glaring issues. If you have a few dozen limb wounds you have to navigate multiple menus to disinfect one wound. And then you have to navigate multiple menus again to then bandage the same wound. There should be a way to mass disinfect and bandage wounds without having to navigate several menu screens to fix one wound. Also, scratches should not cause the highest level of pain. I don't care if you are scratched 100 times, that should not cause you to be in unimaginable pain to the point where even twenty (20) tramadols don't work. Seriously, do I need a fistful of fentanyl to stop scratch pain?
Can I "Steal" the stuff from strange warehouses, and other exodii structures (that have been overun by Zomborgs) without pissing off the Exodii, or do they just automatically know that I looted those places and get mad at me anyway?
I would like to hear your opinions guys .I hate controlling other units, but it seems like cdda requires it in order to survive.
Can i play cdda in solo and still be successful relatively easy compared to playing with party?
Why i ask - kenshi is such a frustration when you dont use party and dont abuse saves in the same time.
