Ask Carlisle Steak
Just moved to the area and have family coming to town looking for a good steak/steakhouse. Any recommendations?

Rustic Tavern has good prime rib only on Friday and Saturday. Best to make reservation. After 4:30pm, it can be tough to get a table.

If you don’t mind traveling , the Glass lounge in Harrisburg is also pretty good, and if you like upscale/fancy Devon seafood and steak in Hershey Pa is really good, but I never had a bad steak at 1794 and Rustic Tavern, but 1794 for me is better.

One13 Social has a cut of the night so if you prefer a particular cut you may want to call first but it's always delicious

Best steak in the area is at 1700 in Harrisburg or tavern on the hill in Enola but they are pricey. The Glass Lounge is also solid for a cheaper option.
If you’re staying in Carlisle I would go to the whiskey rebellion, one13 social or go to a local farm/butcher and make one yourself. There is a ton of farms around who will give you a great hunk of meat.

What you wanna do is get them in the car, and head to Devon seafood / steak in Hershey. And you wanna ask them for your steak to be “char crusted” and let it change your life. If you do it, you’ll wanna come back and thank me. It’s the best.
People are gonna recommend the glass lounge. Place sucks, it’s just locals that like it for nostalgic reasons. Skip it.
In Carlisle 1794 is popular, but it’s a hotel reasturaunt. Go to one13 social instead.

1794 Whiskey Rebellion has a great menu, uses locally sourced beef
