Cold camping.

Last weekend a friend and I set up under an old pavilion to go hunting from. The temps at night bottomed out at 29°, and it was pretty cold. But the Aboron air tent held up, held the heat from a diesel heater all night! We were comfortable all weekend (4 days, 5 night). I will never regret this purchase.

How does the heater work and how far would it need to be from the tent to avoid fumes

There's usually a 4-8 foot hot air duct and a 2-3 foot exhaust duct. Look up Vevor diesel heaters on Amazon.

My bucket list is hot tent camping with a wood stove

I have a qood burner as well. I like the diesel heater tho. Cause i dont have to get up throughout the night and feed it.

Doesnt it make a lot of noise though?

My buddy and I just did that this past weekend. Temps got below freezing Saturday night. I was honestly amazed at how many others were out camping in tents.

Very nice. I’ve been thinking about grabbing a diesel heater to use in our ice fishing huts for a safer/more reliable camping option as opposed to a Mr buddy.

One of the best moves I've made. The blue flame heaters create too much moisture where we snow camp, wake up to icicles in the tent. Only draw back being the cheaper versions don't like too much elevation, the higher end ones can adjust their fuel mixture for the thinner air.

Yeah that was my main concern. Most of the spots we’d be camping are around or over 10k ft and it seems like the cheaper ones get a lil weird with that. Definitely going to have to go down that rabbit hole

Diesel heater is the best cold weather money I've spent too. For the people asking about fumes, it has its own exhaust pipe, so keep the intake and the exhaust both outside, make sure the joints are sealed, and point it away from the door. Still keep a CO alarm in the tent. Mine went off exactly once, and that was me running the exhaust right next to the door like a genius.
