This is a strange one, but I made a recipe using the insides of the sweet potato and then snacked on the skins as a separate snack. Does anyone happen to know the difference in calories? I had 87g of the skin but they were almost caramelized from the natural sugars.
The recipe I made called for 200g of just the insides which my fitness pal says is around 180 calories but I couldn't find any info on just the skins/ outside jacket of the potato.

Camarones al mojo de ajo from a local Mexican spot. Description was āShrimp cooked with fresh garlic, avocado, onions, and tomato. Served with rice and beans.ā Unfortunately fucked the entire thing up. At least I got my protein in??
Was thinking 1k but honestly I got no clue.

The fried rice had a small handful of diced bacon in it. Omelette completely covered top of the rice and wrapped around under the sides with curry sauce on top. Tonkatsu sauce with the pork (loin or tenderloin, no visible fat under the breading), Standard tablespoon and disposable wooden chopsticks to help with size reference maybe.

It had nuts on top and sultana/golden raisins inside. It was quite soft and moist too.
Is 400-500 calories a safe bet? Maybe 485?

was greedy tonight and separated 1 cup of rice (102 g uncooked) into two stews. i usually have these for dinner so i want to know if iāve been logging right. both are homemade from my mom.
1st pic is a side of 64 g of beef stew made withāfrom what i rememberāvegetable oil, water, peppers, tomato paste, and short rib beef (43 g in this portion). last pic provided to show how oily (?) it is.
2nd pic is 58 g of cassava leaf stew made with cassava leaves, palm oil, peppers, and short rib beef (10 g in this portion).
i usually have these rice bowls for dinner so i wanted to make sure iāve been logging these correctly. both are homemade from my mom and west african dishes :) thank you in advance

so i estimated 960 calories trying to track it on myfitnesspal but i wasnāt sure cause i dont have a scale and didnāt really measure anything, so im just eyeballing it. the salad has chickpeas, onion, avocado (like about 2/3), and spinach with lemon and olive oil dressing. and the chicken on top is homemade fried chilli chicken that i estimated to be around 500-600 calories. does that sound right?

I think my meals in general are not too bad, but I snack a lot in the evening, so Iām trying to way increase my protein and fibre, along with having my 7 a day. I love breakfast since school is out and I actually have time to eat. This would be before a long walk to work/shopping, and itās almost always the same thing, though most of the time I just use commercial shop-bought bread.
BREAKFAST
80g loaf of wholemeal bread, homemade by my mum
A laughing cow sort of cheese
3 eggs, scrambled, with some whole milk (seasoned with salt, pepper, cumin and paprika)
A tomato grilled on a panini press
Lunch is always very quick and easy, always either whilst revising or reading. I do usually have a cheese, cucumber and tomato sandwich on brown bread, or beans on toast.
LUNCH
A can of tuna in spring water, perhaps about 100g
About 50g of fat free Greek style yogurt (seasoned with mustard, salt, pepper, onion powder, dried parsley, paprika)
Wholemeal tortilla wrap
Whatever leftover shredded lettuce or greens we have
Cucumber (grown in our garden!!)
Half a tomato
Lots of ketchup
SNACK (on a walk, from my fav cafe)
A hot chocolate made with semi-skimmed milk and chocolate powder
A biscoff biscuit
Dinner is after work or school, itās usually whatever my mum makes, but for the past few weeks Iāve been making it myself since my mumās just not been feeling up to it since itās been a hot summer now a miserable amd rainy autumn lol. This week tjough my mumās been getting back to cooking, and usually sheāll make shakshuka or Tagine or rice with with lean meatballs un tomato sauce. On this occasion itās Harira and French Tacos !
DINNER
Harira made with extra chickpeas - I donāt have the lamb
A wholemeal tortilla
About 150g chicken breast (seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and beef stock)
50g fat free Greek style yogurt
1 slice of the American style cheese
Ketchup
Handful of shredded iceberg lettuce
Cucumber
Other half of tomato
Some chips, Iām not sure how much though. I canāt have added more that 60g in mine because it was already very full
DESSERT
2 pots of coconut and vanilla light Greek style yogurt
2 small apples
An Asian pear I bought the other day

Itās a piece of cheesy bread filled with feta and spinach. Itās quite big and thereās a lot of cheese so Iām guessing 400-500 cals. Thanks in advance!

Around 55g are tuna, 260g whole plate, my breaks are very limited so i cant measure an exact number from each ingredient, what would be a good estimate?
r/caloriecount • u/korrqxst • 1d ago
Iām estimating ~1000 calories:
275kcal for the white rice (not sure if they include oil in the rice)
500kcal for Mac salad
250kcal for garlic aoli shrimp
Am I off the mark?
r/caloriecount • u/love--bunny • 14h ago
For reference, the plate is around 6.5 inches. The nutritional information on the website says that each slice is 170 calories but Iām skeptical.

My mother grabbed these exact cinnamon rolls that are frosted like this from Sams, but I cant for the life of me find any actual nutrition or calorie counts for them other than the frozen version, which lists it at 290 per roll.
Does 290 seem correct? I am doubting its actually really right for these but really wanna try one š
If anyone can give a good estimate or real answer I'd be at your mercy!!
