She just turned 13 months old and is very opinionated. 🖤

Our little cannonball made it into the local Cairn Club's calendar. Miss January 😂 in a rare moment of repose.

Hello. Our old guy (16) seems to be on what is likely to be his final lap around the sun. The old ones are the very best, but as he gets crankier with every passing day it's nice to look back and remember when he was just a wee fella. That look though, it is the same today as it was then!

Ewe dinidnt eban assk me if yuo cude take meye fotograph at da skary pumken! Dont yike lanturnjacks! Yea, I yam madd BRO!

My SIL found it at Zara and I think I found Skye’s brother in bauble form haha
It’s going to go right in the middle on our Christmas tree 🎄

Our Juniper is going to a Halloween themed day at her doggy daycare. They have encouraged the pups to have a costume available for photos. Please share any cute photos you have!!

Does anyone have any ideas or links to a good costume for a cairn? The more comfortable the better. OF COURSE if she can't stand wearing it we will just put it on her for a second just for a photo. I think that is the idea anyway.

Thank you!

Just wanted to see what the experts in this sub thought lol 😂. Either way, she’s 100% good girl 🥰

I'm sure there must be some goat DNA in there as he always has to be on top of something: a settee, a large flowerpot, even my desk if he gets the chance

My old man passed away in May . I would love to get a little resin mold with his ashes, or statue, or something. Most of the cairn stuff doesn't really represent him...

This little girlie is on a rescues’ adoptable dogs website and is listed to be a Cairn Terrier. I know nothing about the breed so was hoping to get people’s opinion on whether or not she is indeed a cairn terrier? She looks a bit different than pics I’ve seen online of the breed. Perhaps she’s mixed with something else? She’s 2 years old and 13lbs if that matters 😅

What does your Cairn Terrier smell like?

It's a known fact that they all have a very nice smell and it's not a doggy smell. Our second Cairn Terrier, Digger smelled like sweet grass. Our third Cairn Terrier, Rusty smelled like a sunny day at the beach with salt air. Well except for the time he had a run in with a skunk, but that's a whole other story. Our current Cairn Terrier, Laddy smells like buttered popcorn and even more so when he gets wet.

New here 👋. My parents just got a new cairn terrier. Her names Tay. She is so sweet. We just recently had to put down our family dog who was a terrier mix (cairn mixed with something) named Hudson due to melanoma of the mouth and it was devastating. The last few pictures are of him. One is him with my cat when I babysat him when my parents were out of town. Tay is such a sweet girl!

It’s raining - Hamish's favourite weather. He genuinely puzzled as to why I don’t want to be outside playing in my pjs

I want ma floofs to come on walkies with me
