Cracked fork question

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Had a crash yesterday, holding front brake and the wheel does not move, but there is some play in the fork area where it didn’t before, might it be broken?
It’s been tightened to torque by a torque wrench, but after I tighten the left side the right seems to allow “more torque”, vice versa. Could this be a result of cracked carbon?

To me it looks like you didn't preload your headset fully

Alright, I’ll try to do it again, thanks.

Agreed. You can kind of see the gap opening up when it rocks back and forth in the video.

Keep in mind, you also have play in your brake pads. Your brake pads can move a little bit within the caliper. So, when you hold the brake lever, your brake pads will stick to the rotor, but then they are free to move just a tiny bit within the caliper. That tiny movement will be exaggerated as we move up the bike. And can sometimes, feel like a lose headset.
