Dev/Admin Responded Android: Skip to next comment button advancing too far
Just had an update last night, to version 2025.29.0. Now whenever I press the skip to next comment thread button (the down arrow next to the comment field), it skips to the child of the next comment, instead of the parent comment.
Edit: App just updated (7/30/25) and it's still broken.
2nd edit: updated again (8/6/25) and it's still broken.
3rd edit: updated again (8/12/25) and it's still broken.
4th edit: updated again (8/27/25) and IT'S FIXED!! HAHAHA JUST KIDDING. Still freaking broken đ
5th edit: updated again (9/3/25) and it seems to finally be working. Now to break the habit of hitting the next comment button and scrolling back up for over a month.

Wanted to come and file the same bug, which I already wrote out, so I'm posting it here:
When tapping the âDown arrow / Next Comment Threadâ button, instead of jumping to the next topâlevel (parent) comment, the app skips past it and lands on the first child reply. This forces me to scroll back up slightly to locate the actual next parent comment.
Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Glad to hear it's already being prioritized :)

Thought it was just me. I cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, and everything.
It's really bugging me.

Still experiencing same issue. This seems like an easy fix to factor in the top bar so the comment isn't covered by it when skipping. Why is it taking so long to fix?

We're working on a fix for this one, hang tight!
ETA August 28: Hey folks - the fix for this one didn't make the cut on time so it's been around a bit longer than we originally expected.
I've verified that the fix will be out in v2025.35 releasing next week. For any further updates on this issue please check out this post.
