Need a home for little blue Wendy.
Need a home for 3 years old British Shorthair. She has her own automatic food dispenser and literbox. She is very affectionate, playful and a little shy.

I don’t know if it’s the right place, but am I the only one that finds the “is my cat a BSH?” posts annoying? I do understand why the people ask this, but so many posts (or at least the ones that Reddit puts on my page / pushes) in this sub are about this. Without papers, it’s a guess based on looks and in most cases (imo) a Google search does give you the answer. I personally think that it would be more appropriate to either have flair for that or redirect those posts to a dedicated sub (idk if there is one). Maybe it’s only me and I need to change the algorithm….
Greetings from my gremlin..

I know cats don’t recognize their own siblings but every now and then I still hope Jade (older lilac bsh) somehow notices Jarvis (black smoke kitten) has the same face as her 🥹. Jade also got the floofy tail gene but Jarvis did not. Everyone questions how they can be related when Jarvis is black…I’m tired of having to explain it to them 🥲😭
Jarvis is also noticeably smaller than Jade when she was his age — he’s actually the only surviving kitten of his litter :( but he is VERY feisty!

Hi everyone! I want to introduce to you my girl, Snowbell. She is a 7 month old british short hair. No paperwork or anything but she definitely looks like one.
I got her about a week ago and at first she was hiding for a day or so in my room and now she is comfortable around me but still hides if she hears any other person approaching. I let her out in the house at certain moments but when other family members are around the house, she tends to hide. Should I let her roam around the house anyway or keep her in my room?

my cat is 2 years old and i got him 4 months ago. when i first got him, he had a bunch of eye discharge that was red and green. we took him to the vet for a check up and they gave us eye drops. his eye boogers lessened, however his eye boogers are thick and green now(not red anymore) one time he was squinting in one eye so i took him to the vet. they said he had a small scratch in his eye. I asked them about the eye boogers and how they are green and thick but they said that its normal but when i search on the internet its not. I have to wipe his eye boogers a couple times a day. The vet i go to is rated really high (4.8). I dont know whether to trust the internet or the vet.
