Hi all I just wanted to say it was sooo wonderful seeing so many beautiful Bonnaroovians dancing, grooving, and spreading love at Seven Stars this year. It gave me so much joy every time I saw someone sporting some Roo gear. You likely got a high five or Happy Roo from me if I passed by you. Our community is alive and well, even if spread apart for the time being ❤️

Since Bonaroo is canceled this year a few friends and I were looking into going to Miami Ultra in March. We’re trying to get a bigger group together to cut down on expenses and to meet new people. We’re in the Nashville area but open to meeting up with people in the surrounding areas. If anyone is interested shoot me a message or comment. :) Sending love!

Just a reminder, everything you say can and will be spun against us.
Below is a police report that is NOT from bonnaroo, it is from Field of Vision. But it is very informative on many levels and shows how the police departments will use social media posts to justify their behaviour, increase enforcement, request a bigger budget and to arrest more people.
Also it is a reminder that they are humans and do not react positively to hate.

Partner and I are taking the no roo opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and plan a possible trip to Japan next year instead. We miss the farm so much. Anyone planning a trip in place of the mourning of our lovely roo?

No Bonnaroo in 2027? Story Time at the Roo Bus is celebrating the Bonnaroovians who make our community special.
With a year off from the Farm, we've got some upcoming interviews with real Roovians from the heart of the community who are chasing big dreams, having wild adventures, and making a difference in the world.
On episode 265 of Story Time at the Roo Bus, we meet Rob, whose adventures took him from college radio in Knoxville, to Bonnaroo 2006, across Africa, and all the way to Everest Base Camp! 🏔️ Watch his full interview here.
Know a Bonnaroovian doing something extraordinary? Maybe they're making music, traveling the world, doing good in their community, chasing an ambitious dream, or just have an incredible story to tell. We want to hear about them! Leave a comment or send us a message. We'd love to feature them!

Billy Strings is reopening the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, a 105-year-old landmark that just finished a $75 million restoration. We sat down with Nick Wilkinson of the Tivoli Foundation to find out how it happened, why a city spends that kind of money on a theater, and how the live music business really works.
Billy plays two nights at the Tivoli (Oct. 20 and 21) in a room of about 1,600 seats, during IBMA week. Nick explains how the reopening came together, how the ticket lottery works, why tickets can't be transferred, and how the free block party outside works, with the show projected on giant LED screens outside the venue.
Then we get into the bigger picture: why it took so long, who paid for it, why touring is now how artists make a living, the "no runny eggs" rule that keeps big acts coming back, how Live Nation and Ticketmaster fit in, where ticket fees actually go, and what's next for concerts in Chattanooga.

Missing the Roo spirit and always looking to find our roots. We have been to the farm every year since 2016 and will be there in 2028. Happy Roo!
P.S. live music is what keeps us alive. Go to the show. Head bang. Enjoy the blues show. Get weird at an EDM set. Catch a performance in a field… it doesn’t matter! My connection has been and always will be to the people I meet who radiate positivity.

Pretty neat find. I didn’t think it was anything like it looks. I actually don’t know what I thought and obviously, I don’t remember how and where I acquired it, in 2014.
Kind of made my day. 🤷🏻♂️

Bonnaroo was my first music festival in 2025 and I still adoreedddd it. I was hoping to go to the 2027 but I just found out it’s not happening ! :(
Is there anything in the east coast / around it that has similar vibes or just equally as awesome ? Would love to know! Thank yall in advance !

Anyone else in the service industry for a living, drunk on a Sunday night and missing Roo so hard rn?? 😪😪😪😪 My first year was 2022 and I’ve been every year since (my first was supposed to be 2021, then 2021, we all know how that went). Gonna miss you crazy Roovians this year but we will be back and stronger than ever in 2028💕💕💕
(Also where are we all going in 2027???)

Do y’all think they’ll bring back where in the woods for 2028?

I work in a hotel. I’m probably 350 miles from bonnaroo. Just had a chat with a Manchester local who happen to be staying in my hotel. He went to bonnaroo when it was itchycoo. Worked it over the years. Awesome guy.
I asked if he thought it was coming back, already assuming the answer: he said no, he doesn’t think Roo is coming back
Edit: obviously this isn’t a fucking executive order. I just figured the word from a local’s mouth who is intertwined with the festival probably would mean something to yall. He didn’t say he knew it wouldn’t; he just said he didn’t think it was coming back. With a look of “I’m pretty sure about this”
Lol. “Radiate positivity” unless our hive mind classifies you as a nuisance, then we will all go attack mode!

Any rave friends going to Big Gigantic’s Double Vision at the Caverns? With its proximity to the Farm I thought I’d see if any of the Roo fam will be down to boogie! Send me a message if you feel like going!

I made this post after last year’s Roo. My words were sort of harsh and for that I apologize, however I fear my words may have been true. Now I hope they just come back. ):
