This guy took me months to put together. The head, wrist braces, shield, hands, and cloak were all custom made all painted by me. I had that cool pectoral harness he has in the comics made but it hindered the articulation and just didn't look right to me. I think he looks better without it tbh. But anyway, just thought I'd share it. Is it too late to say cheers for 60 years? Probably lol.

So, like a lot of you I’m sure, the first film made me want to read more into his character. I picked the first BP I could find but I’m really bad with names and dates:

- My first BP run was the one where he’s in a space prison and makes friends with this alien kid and this orcish-looking female character. I loved that one - but I can’t remember the year, title or writer? Anyone know what in talking about?

- Following that was intergalactic Wakanda arc, which I dropped cause I couldn’t get into the space faring stuff. But I’d be open to giving it another try. What year was that?

After that I didn’t read another BP comic until the “T’Challa has been positioning Wakandans as sleeper agents across the world” arc which I HATED cause it felt like the Marvel was intentionally shitting on his character: ousted by the Avengers, steps down as King, breaks up with Ororo (again), implication that he’s bisexual (not altogether a bad thing but came outta nowhere imo) - they even had some random kid suddenly have similar powers as him. All of this was after Chadwick died and it put a really bad taste in my mouth.

I read the Blood hunt/Varnae stuff which was cool but I’d love to get into another good Black Panther run.

Any recs?

Now I know, I know. "Recast, T'challa, he's Touissant not T'challa, Ryan Coogler sucks at adapting Black Panther" and bla bla bla. And you wouldn't be wrong to have these opinions at all. But Black Panther 3 could be an opportunity to do a classic T'challa, and do him justice.

Say Shuri dies in Doomsday(which I think is actually a good shot of it happening), what if they now allow the new T'challa do become the super genius? What if they go the route of making him king of the dead, allowing Letita Wright to remain as a supporting character, and giving T'challa a well deserved buff? What if they start adapting storylines like his relationship with Storm, intergalactic Wakanda, and friendship with Reed Richards and other super geniuses?

While I 100% understand the mistrust, and frustration surrounding how Black Panther has been adapted in the MCU, this is a golden opportunity for Marvel to get him right. But what do you guys think?

If you know any other VS episodes starring T'Challa you know if, feel free to talk about them in the replies below.

I came up with this a couple years ago. I believe with suspended belief that this could have worked

Black Panther fighting the Ultron-I units in Avengers: Tech-On is the way T’Challa turns an overwhelming battle into a showcase of precision, power, and leadership. The Ultron-I army is designed to exhaust the Iron Avengers through sheer numbers. https://youtube.com/shorts/218fTqq9QtQ?is=mL9BOzE0bYOch70a Each machine is superstrong, heavily armored, powered by Infinity Mirror Shard energy, and connected to the others through a shared hive mind. Every time the Avengers destroy one, the Red Skull creates more, until the team is nearly buried beneath an endless wave of machines.

Forgot I made this a while back and didn't post. Just love having BP where I can

Hi all! Not a cosplayer, but I am in charge of a student-run nonprofit that visits kids at our local hospital as superheroes and princesses. I’m looking for a Black Panther cosplay for one of our new volunteers. Here is what we would need:
1. As realistic as possible. We want to make sure our costumes are real-looking so the kiddos can’t tell the difference and think the real T’Challa is visiting them!
2. Somewhat cheap. We have a relatively small budget, but could probably swing $800-$1200. Since we are volunteer run though, as cheap as possible is best
3. Durable. They will be used almost weekly, so need to be durable or repairable
4. Shipping to Canada. That’s where we are located!

What are good places to get this cosplay specifically? I have seen some options from ProCosplay and Takerlama, but not sure if they are reliable

Here’s my tribute to Chadwick and the legacy he left.

I’m currently working my way through the 1990s Inhumans, but after that, I want to get into Black Panther. I’ve heard that it’s a slog, though (or alternatively, that it’s methodical and takes a while to build up), so it’s turned me off a bit. Are there any runs or solo stories that deal with the character in a way that delivers on the action in a quick and entertaining way? Preferably with some character depth and/or Wakandan world-building.

Haven't read the fantastic 4 crossover inside yet I was on the orignal Fantastic 4 Issue 25 finished Annual 1 and 2.

I think it was a 6 to 6.5 no hate to author he clearly has a lot of passion and better understanding. It's just mostly hype moments aura and clowing the French could be better on reread or if I countie.
