issue keyboard when building

when trying to build some letters dont work anymore

z x c v are good
but

a s q w

i cant find why this happens tried changing legacy grid nothing worked

Bug yesterday with bottom position build menue on grid keys but should be fixed already. If not you can switch back to side build menue

I had this same exact issue. Deactivate "build menu bottom position" option under Interface in settings, and then try it again.

You may have accidentally pressed alt-shift and changed the input language?

pressing it again should normally solve it. Unless you have more than 2 languages installed. (then you need to press it more to cycle back)

Could be something completely different though...does a s q w work in other games?

You may have manually set another hotkey to those letters. For example if you set control groups 1-3 to q, w, e now those letters won’t work if you have comm or a con selected.

I like to have those groups accessible without moving my hand, but had to remap reclaim and resurrect as they no longer worked on the default keys due to them stepping on the existing hotkeys.

This is a bug that some are seeing right now, theres a support thread about it on the discord. Something to do with grid and legacy keys not meshing right. Fresh install will fix it if you dont mind.

This happened to me too when the last patch applied.

I had to go into settings during a game and do a reset of all settings.
