Just as the title says. This is about a week of growth and just wondering if I should let it grow and see where it goes or just shave it

I'm planning to grow my beard longer, but I want to get it shaped properly without losing much length.

Based on my current beard growth (photos attached), what beard style would you recommend? Should I trim or shape anything now, or just let it grow?

Also, what exactly should I tell my barber to avoid messing it up?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out what beard style suits me best. My beard gets pretty thin and wispy toward the bottom, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on both my beard and mustache separately.

1. Beard: Would trimming about an inch (2–3 cm) off the bottom make it look fuller, or does the current length look fine?
2. Mustache: Should I keep growing it out to get a fuller, more developed mustache, or would it look better trimmed just above my upper lip?

I currently use beard balm and styling cream to keep everything in place.

I'd appreciate any honest feedback and suggestions!

How do we all feel about the beard?

I know I need to give it a bit of a tidy up and a trim, especially around the moustache. It's been about a month since I last went to the barber for a shape up.

Had a beard for about 11 years but I've been growing it longer for around 6 months or so, visiting the barber maybe once a month.

I've been getting some compliments from other guys out and about which has been nice.

It does get a bit ratty sometimes as my daughter likes to hold onto it when she's falling asleep or if she's anxious so at this point I need to keep it long regardless.

Ideally I'd like it to come to more of a point but the sides of the chin grow out a bit quicker than the middle so after a few weeks it ends up quite square

First time growing, really surprised how good it's going. Obviously thinner on the uppder cheek, but does not bother me at the moment. Gonna let it grow some more, trying to keep it looking clean by trimming flyaways and keeping a good line. Figuring a style out for myself in some time 👍🏻

I always end up with this bit of waviness in my beard because of the straps from my CPAP mask and it's really bugging me. Has anyone figured out a good way to deal with this?

Attended a production of Martin Guerre at the Old Vic theatre last night. Wonderful production. Always nice to be in the audience, normally I’m on the stage!

I posted on here awhile back about if it’s working and you all said keep it. But what the hell do i do with the mustache? I went and got the beard shaped like you recommended but she cut the stache a little short. I was thinking just hanging over the lip
And then what do I need for maintenance and care? I got some beard oil and balm and a trimmer one of you guys recommended anything else?

I’ve been growing my beard for almost 3 months now. My biggest issue is getting more coverage on my cheeks. There’s hair growing there, but a lot of it is blond or light brown, so it looks thinner than the rest of my beard.

Ive trimmed it once about two weeks ago (just in my chin a jaw) with 10mm guard. I’ve left the cheeks alone.
I’m using beard oil, balm, and a boar-bristle brush.

Would you guys recommend letting it grow longer, keeping it around this length, or trying something else to improve the density? Any advice is appreciated!
