Horror Weekend of Terror 1996, the Amsterdam horror film festival known for its unhinged audience. Special guest: Stuart Gordon (with trailer "Castle Freak")
In 1996, the 13th Festival of Fantastic Film took place in Amsterdam, also known as the Weekend of Terror. The festival was famous for its wild audience, who would loudly react, shout, and heckle the actors on screen during horror films. Female characters in particular had to endure the abuse and were routinely greeted with the slur “WHORE!” A report from Amsterdam Public Access TV.

A $22K psycho-thriller about guerrilla filmmakers losing their minds - META TAKE ONE (2025)
We spent two years making a $22.5K Atlanta crime nightmare and somehow got it onto Tubi. Here’s the trailer / watch link. Happy to answer anything about making it.
It's a movie we truly believe fits the b movie or late night watch.

Horror Found an ultra-rare, first-run self-published VHS copy of Greg Parker’s "Lord of the Dead" (2002) / ParkerFilms & IronChain Entertainment
Just dug through my collection and finally tracked down my physical copy of Lord of the Dead, the self-published 2002 micro-budget underground horror feature directed by Greg Parker (ParkerFilms in association with IronChain Entertainment).
This is a first-run, self-distributed home video release complete with the custom slipcase and tape label (copyright 2002), featuring creature/sculpt work by Crow, special appearances by cast members like Manny Giudice, Barry Ayash, and Pete Furmo, and music by David Gervasi, Scott Hoyt, and Toni Ilijevski.
Has anyone else come across these original self-published ParkerFilms tapes in the wild?

On-set practises and production standards for 2000s B-movie/ softcore productions
Hi everyone,
There is currently a lot of intense discussion on social media regarding the past acting roles of Jessica Lauren (now known as Lauren Hart, Arch Enemy) in Jim Wynorski´s The Devil Wears Nada (2009). Unfortunately, this had led to a great deal of misinformation and harsh criticism regarding what was actually depicted on set.
From a film production and historical standpoint, i´d like to ask: Was it standard industry practice for all intimate scenes in these B-movie and softcore productions to be strictly simulated using modesty garments?
I would appreciate any factual insights into the production standards and set protocols of that era to help bring some clarity and objectivity to the ongoing debate.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
