Racism Watch Sinophobia following the Mbappé affair

Pfffffffff I'm tired. I don't even feel like posting a tweet, it’s the usual kind of rhetoric or jokes that gets a massive number of likes... China is a dictatorship, the Chinese people are not free, jokes about a Chinese dystopia and other such rubbish.

After the Japanese, it is now the turn of the Chinese to face a wave of racism. Of course... they don't see a distinction, they just see "Asians," and that’s all. They aren't going to treat you differently based on your nationality, I just hope that the local in Asia comes to realize this one day. I say this because many of my friends are banking on "Chinamaxxxing," believing that the perception of China among white people will improve, as if we needed their approval to be considered valid.

Look at this, some bullshit story, and it just completely blows up. You could be China in 2026, a technological powerhouse, and people would still shit all over you because of some stupid drama involving a soccer player.

Edit : I’m adding an edit because there might be a misunderstanding. Of course, it would be wonderful if racism were to disappear and if Asian countries were valued for their true worth, without being constantly belittled or having to fear facing racism for no reason. That said, one’s pride in being Asian should not be contingent upon the approval of others especially white.

Discussion/Question One Punch Man starring Steven Yeun

Steven Yeun really nailed Mark in Invincible. I feel like he’s coded for another superhero role. Enter One Punch Man. He would bring in Invincible fans as well as anime ones and this would be a huge win for Asian men. He has the experience playing a superhero. He was originally supposed to be Sentry in Thunderbolts but that got botched. Dude deserves a shot.
