MootyASMR - YouTube

That is my youtube channel, I make not so great quality asmr videos using my dusty old laptop camera and microphone. I have done a few different types of videos so far, a few with brushes and a few with me tapping and scratching random things. I'm quite new to this and would like more people to see my stuff and give me feedback. This is just a shameless self promo.

One of the best things about ASMR is that the simplest sounds can be the most satisfying! From crunchy textures and gentle squishing sounds to quiet everyday activities, you don't need an expensive setup to create something people genuinely enjoy. Sometimes, all it takes is a little creativity and attention to detail.

Have you ever thought about starting your own ASMR channel, or do you already make your own videos? What sounds give you the biggest tingles, and what advice would you give to someone just getting started? Let's share ideas and discover new ways to relax!

enjoy my new video!!

I think ASMR creators sometimes put too much pressure on themselves to come up with elaborate concepts or buy expensive microphones when the actual trigger is what makes people stay.

Binaural audio can be incredible, and unusual settings like forests or outdoor locations can make a video memorable. But neither one automatically makes an ASMR video relaxing. If the sounds are unpleasant, the pacing feels forced, or the creator seems more focused on the concept than the experience, all the production value in the world won't fix it.

Some of my favorite ASMR ideas are the simplest ones: brushing, organizing objects, quiet personal attention, or someone carefully doing an ordinary task. There's something satisfying about watching a person focus on what they're doing without constantly trying to manufacture a viral moment.

I also think new creators shouldn't be discouraged just because their niche seems unusual or there's already a lot of competition. A distinctive trigger can find its audience when it's presented thoughtfully and consistently.

I'd rather watch a creator make an ordinary activity feel incredibly satisfying than see an elaborate setup that feels like it's trying too hard.

What do you think matters most in ASMR: the quality of the audio, the trigger itself, the creator's presence, or the overall atmosphere?

Enjoy!

Hi everyone! I’m planning to use a 3Dio Free Space XLR binaural microphone for ASMR, and I currently own a Focusrite Vocaster Two audio interface.
I’m trying to find out if anyone has successfully used these two devices together.
A few things I’d love to know:
Have you connected the 3Dio Free Space XLR to the Vocaster Two?
Does it provide the required 48V phantom power to both XLR outputs simultaneously?
Can you record proper stereo binaural audio with both microphone channels?
Did you run into any compatibility issues, noise, or problems with the gain?
I’ve seen conflicting information online, so I’d really appreciate hearing from someone who has actually tested this combination!
Thank you!

If you enjoy the relaxing sounds of deep cleaning without any distracting voiceovers or background music, I recently finished putting together our latest floor restoration project.

This video focuses entirely on the visual and auditory process of reviving Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) floors. It features the sounds of heavy-duty scrubbing, the satisfying water extraction process, and the final visual reveal of the restored floor texture.

Watch the full ASMR cleaning process here:HOW TO REVIVE YOUR LVT FLOORS

If you appreciate this style of no-talking, pure-sound cleaning content, you can find more satisfying transformations on our YouTube channelu/ohlimpio.

For those who happen to be located in the Bradenton or Sarasota, Florida area and want to experience this deep clean in your own home or business, you can check out our services at ohlimpio.com.

Hi everyone!

We are Christopher and Christina, and we are quite new to the ASMR community.

To be completely honest, we initially started our channel (Pretzelbites) to show international viewers an authentic look into German food culture and supermarkets. However, someone recommended to us to post this here, and since ASMR is in the title, we tagged it as Intentional.

The videos are actually unintentional ASMR because it's a food review/tasting of German convenience food, sweets, and candies, where the sounds just happen naturally in the background rather than being the main focus.

Thank you for any form of support!

Still fairly new to this and am definitely looking for feedback about what'd working for people here. Also, looking to get a proper ASMR mic that's good for capturing the subtle sounds of cat brushing. Any ideas under $500? Thank you!

I'm working on a small project called Gap Moment: a scent patch you place nearby (no electronics, nothing on skin) and a short narrated nature recording that plays on your phone. It's still early, and the app and scents are in development. The page is gapmoment.com. For those of you who use ASMR or ambient audio to wind down, would a matching scent add anything for you, or would it just be a distraction? Honest answers are welcome, including that it wouldn't.
