dilation tips?

just got srs back on the 11th & dilation is straight up unbearably painful. does anyone have tips for better positions to lay in & ways to spread the legs that hurts way less? they give me cyclobenzaprine & dilaudid to ease thru the pain but its still not enough.

I can't answer your question p, bubtheres some info on dilation here

https://old.reddit.com/r/TransSurgeriesWiki/wiki/srs/introduction#wiki_dilation

It sounds much more painful than usual. I think you should consult your surgeon to see if there's a problem.

by & large the #2 is ok after its been in a little while, the #3 is impossible to start with but is fine after a few mins with the #2 in (its still super uncomfy, with pain spikes), but the #4 feels like im tearing myself to pieces & its super painful to have inside me & the thing is like, the first few dilations weren't painful but theyve just gotten worse & worse thru my recovery

I don't know enough to say much useful. Some women do have a lot of pain, but perhaps there's actually something wrong? Are you taking strong painkillers? Tramadol is common for some surgeons.

Is there some kind of infection ? Do you get enough vitamins, and are there some signs of an infection ? Maybe they can do something to counter that.

Hope you feel better in the meantime.
