I’m sorry to bring this back up, but I can’t help it. If you go over and look at Michael Todd’s YouTube he’s uploading more gym videos. Which whatever fine and dandy, it’s America you can post what you want. What’s making me sick is how many people are like saying he’s a man of god and that he should be able to compete, or he’s the champ still, blah blah blah. He fucked a kid people. And I read the documents myself, as well as watched arm historians full breakdown. It wasn’t some innocent “I met her at a pool hall and thought she was 16” type of scenario. He was well aware of her age
I’m all for people cleaning their lives up and changing and growing from who they were. I myself am a recovering addict who spent 9 years of my life in jail and prison. And then you have a kid fucker who only did 3 years? How does that make sense. Anyway I do believe people can change. I do know that first hand. But there are certain acts that in my eyes, society should not forgive. Murder, rape, and the sexual abuse of a child. There’s a reason that we’re taught our whole lives that people who fuck kids are the worst thing in the world. It takes a special kind of evil to be able to knowingly take the innocence of a kid.
And people testified in court, that they had told Michael Todd that she was 13. He “didn’t finish” meaning he decided to not ejaculate, because he “felt bad”. He doesn’t deserve to represent any sport! I don’t care how good he is. He doesn’t deserve to be put on a pedestal, he should struggle for the rest of his life. Even if he has changed, which I don’t believe he has for one second, this label should be attached to him forever and it should restrict how well he does in his life.
If you watch his response on the podcast all he cared about was himself. Making it out to be like he was a fuckin victim. Oh poor Michael, let’s feel bad for him. Gimme a break. I really hope he’s banned from any other federation. He doesn’t deserve to make a career out of this sport. Any ceo of any federation with even an ounce of integrity or morality would agree. And he’s clearly just avoiding it and deleting the negative comments.
My main point above anything else, pay attention to the way he has acted. He has ZERO remorse for the act he committed. The only remorse or regret he shows is for getting caught doing it. Which he has made super clear
