SUPPORT | SOLVED SDDM not loading upon update

Hello, this morning I updated my system, and upon reboot I found that I could no longer access KDE. When it boots it just stalls on the boot status (I have it on verbose). I can switch TTYs, but whatever I do sddm and plasma fail to run.

If more information is needed let me know

You're not the first to report issues with SDDM with Plasma 6.8. Not sure where the mess up is, but people (me included) have reported success using Plasma Login Manager instead.

I ended up fixing the issue, and my bad, I missed up sddm and plasma login. I was using plasma login before this happened. I'm not sure how I got it to fix but I think it was sudo touch /forcefsck

During fixing I switched to sddm on accident so your reminder helped me revert that.
