What happened to Knight's downtown?
We've been regulars for years, but the food quality seems to have fallen off in last year. I've had many things on the menu over the years, but one thing that's almost always been reliable is the steak. But my recent top sirloin was super chewy. Family who came in from out of town recently who also love the restaurant said their spensy NY strip steak was super chewy and the baked potato "translucent." Now that I think about it I haven't been thrilled with my last several meals there.
I'm wondering, if meat supply issues are part of the problem. I think their homemade soups are still fairly decent. What else?
I love the restaurant and the bar--Ann Arbor classic--and will always go there for the vibe. I think. My loyalty is strained right now.
