I've enjoyed anime edits for years, especially Visper's raw/typo style and sometimes the candy edits. To improve my skills, I've been watching YouTube tutorials on creating these edits. However, most of these tutorials are step-by-step guides for remaking specific edits, which means I'm mostly learning how to use certain tools rather than developing my own style.

I'm curious about the best learning methods and whether there are any good paid courses or comprehensive YouTube tutorial series that explain the mechanics of editing. My goal is to create my own unique work.

If someone wants to teach me, I'm willing to pay, though.

This has been my childhood dream; I genuinely want to get good at this. If you have a good paid course or tutorial video that genuinely helps me overcome these problems, please share it. That will help me a lot.

Another question. How long did it take each of you to become good at editing? Does it take months or years?

P.S. My taste is not for newer TikTok edits; I miss the Visper, Shoko, and Cereals era.

Here are some examples of edits I aspire to achieve:

- Hu Tao x Ayaka Edit - Life Is Still Going On (Shoko Remake): [Watch here](https://youtu.be/7oBYU4rLtcA)

Every answer means a lot to me, feel free to share some tips or tricks

My bandmates and I grew up watching AMV’s and really wanted to make one to celebrate the band’s first chapter! Hope you guys enjoy! This was my first time making one, hope it’s not ass 😭

Back in 2019 there was this YouTuber called Eymon AMV’s and his channel was about anime AMVs, right? The thing is that I believe his Captain Tsubasa AMV’s were pretty popular among the community, not only the American one but also the Hispanic one as well. He did some fine works, and the songs he used were peak every time. Well, one day his Captain Tsubasa AMV’s videos got deleted and he just said, through YouTube’s Community section, that his videos got removed and there was not much he could do about it. I’m making this post because I became so obsessed with his CT AMV’s that I have spent a fair amount of my free time trying to find each of his songs, and I also recreated some of his AMV’s that could considered lost media. But as hard as I tried, I’m still missing two songs. Two mf songs. So I’m making this post to know if there’s someone who knows these songs. One is from the “Nankatsu Vs Azumaichi” video where Tsubasa encounters Soda for the first time and Takasugi scores a goal with the head. The second one is, I think, the “Nitta’s Running Volley Hayubasa Shoot” or “Tsubasa vs Nitta”, the video where Nitta basically tries and tries to score until he finally scores but then Tsubasa scores easily at the end. If someone knows the name of these songs, I would appreciate it if they told me their names. And if there’s another Eymon AMV’s fan who is looking for the songs, here I leave the list:

Eymon AMV’s Musics:

Nankatsu vs Musashi:
ONLAP - The Awakening

Misugi’s Heart:
Arrows To Athens - Alive

Tsubasa vs Hyuga:
Blockheads - Stay The Night

Tsubasa and Misaki Golden Combo Twin Shot:

Nankatsu vs Shutetsu:

Tsubasa vs Twins Tachibana:
ONLAP - Forever

Nanaktsu vs Shutetsu- End Of Match:
Asteroids - Scream

Wakabayashi vs Shimizuu:
Fight Like Sin - Demons

Wakabayashi vs Hyuga:
Citizen Soldier - Buried Alive

Nanakatsu vs Meiwa Final:
Falling with Glory - Restless Nights

Goodbye:
Ben Woodward - Lost Without You

Tsubasa: Living Legend:
Club Danger - Living Legend

Hyuga: Ready to Die:
TheUnder - Ready To Die

Tsubasa vs Nitta:

My first AMV, thoughts?

This is the second AMV I have ever made. Trying out new things with new transitions in this one. Any ideas for future projects?

There's a famous question from Cyberpunk 2077:

"Would you rather live in peace as Mr. Nobody, or go down for all times in a blaze of glory?"

Not everyone becomes a legend. But everyone might have a moment in their life worth remembering.

Made this on a whim once my big brother told me the final song of Gunbuster was based directly on this ABBA song, put my editing skills to the test. Contains spoilers.

Im not sure if the text goes against rule 3 if it does i'll delete the post

I'll do a long version, and try to summarize it in the end! So basically, I watched this AMV a while ago, it was when HXH 2011 just started airing, the title was THEY ARE BACK and that song...I can still remember part of it and the voice a little but no lyrics and I clearly know nothing about music theory to find by cords but it was probably same rock genre as any other AMV except I can't quite find that song!

I've tried several methods to find it, starting with my biggest clue, this one AMV I have, from the same guy, that I feel like was popular at the time (had stumbled upon the video a few times). I managed to find the link video on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn5kJGfqFQk) thanks to facebook (https://www.facebook.com/GhosTxHunTeR/) having the title name "Youve never seen a fight like this before (Hunter x Hunter AMV)" since apparently google doesn't search youtube links that it knows are private??? so stupid.

Anyway, I couldn't find some sort of channel name, which is a shame since the video ain't deleted but private! I just want the song name of the other amv! I've tried several ways to see if I could find this amv's channel name with archive websites but no luck. It's obviously not in the amv database. I finally just tried listening to hundreds of alt rock songs like amvs used from 2000s! I tried all songs of Decyfer Down in case they used the same band as this video somehow, and for some songs I thought I might be close but nothing...So I came here, I'm out of options so all I can hope now is that some kindred spirit like me had watched this video, and has some hint to the channel (I doubt they know about the other video but I feel like their channel had only this video for a while until they dropped THEY ARE BACK since well, they clearly liked HxH and made them want to make an amv again I suppose).

IN SHORT: this amv was made by someone and that someone had a second video on their channel, from the 1st or 2nd ep of HxH 2011 back when it aired, it has Leorio and Kurapika in a boat with rain, it's really short! like this video. And I'd really like to know the song name of that amv, even if it's so hopeless. This amv was probably popular enough that some had seen it and somehow can help, which is my last resort and a long run but I'm still willing to ask!

And just in case my big text scared you I will say it in caps to be safe: I KNOW THIS VIDEO'S SONG IS CALLED DECYFER DOWN - FIGHT LIKE THIS, THAT'S NOT WHAT THE POST IS ABOUT.

Feel free to give me criticisms about my AMV
