I’ve been working on this for a while and wanted to share it here. It’s called Abandoned Laboratory: a modular research facility where something clearly went very wrong. Breached walls, shattered stasis tubes, cryo pods (some still sealed...) and a generator with its core exposed.

It’s a set of 51 STL files for 28-32mm games, built on a 2" grid, so you can rearrange the rooms into any layout you like. The floors have a small groove on every edge, so the walls lock the tiles together, and everything prints without supports.

This is my first time sharing it publicly, so I’d really love to hear what you think:

• What would you add to a lab like this?
• Which room would you want to play in first?
• Anything you’d change?

I already got the starter kit, and soon I'm gonna get the rule book as well. But does anyone have any input on their other premade stories? I wanna get one or a few but it's confusing to know which ones are good to get.

Also for context this is my first TTRPG, so any help and patience would be great.

Rules state that if two people are in Overwatch position against each other, and they both shoot, an opposed ranged Combat roll determines which attack goes first. My question is, would the first attack fire and take the second individual out of Overwatch since they suffered damage? Or are both shots already being fired, as implied by the "you shoot before your enemy's act" rule?

I love this system but I’ve only played one-shots at conventions. Thinking of getting a cinematic adventure to introduce it to my gaming group. Which one would you recommend?

How does ammonia work. For example on the pistol it stats 2. What does that mean?

My regular DnD group are playing the Alien RPG for October in the run up to Halloween, so I offered to paint up our xenomorph friend here.

I am planning to run the adventure, but I don't have access to the physical product where I live, only the pdfs. Does anyone know where I can get 3d markers like the ones in the map and markers set? Especially the motion tracker one, closest thing I found was this facehugger one (https://www.printables.com/model/893843-facehugger-wall-art/collections).

What has changed?

- I wanted to have an application that could host multiple table statuses. I have run the scenario 2 times and I plan to run it again and I want a fresh start for each table, keeping the old table data available.

- I wanted to add customizations to the data and allow the exchange of messages and events between the players and the GM. This required a backend application, that's why it was converted to a node.js service with a backend.

- I added missing photos, more strict separation of clearance levels, more screens.

- I added a full GM desk to allow the management of the data.

- I added quality-of-life improvements such a badge generator.

- The application supports the addition of any ship/facility, adding arbitrary rosters, messages, events, statuses, announcements, in effect supporting any Alien session where you want a central computer with terminals to be available.

I would like your feedback. Obviously, a big thank you from my part to both original creators for laying the foundation of this work.

Please give me your thoughts and criticisms on this 'monster' I created for my current game.

I'd like to present, the Corpse Synthetic. The closest example I have to a zombie (so far), without following the biohazard trope in universe. I kind of followed the rules for damage to vehicles, and compared that to how synthetics are run. Please let me know if the rules read clearly, is balanced and if this is good, fun and/or interesting idea. Thanks as always!

Hi, I'm trying to develop a quick quiz to tailor my GM offerings of ARPG to the tastes of players.

The problem I really am trying to solve is for is for convention play, but also 'sign up at your local game store play'. I don't have a group of friends that I can work these details out with.

Obviously, I am also VERY interested in feedback. These are just four questions but I have tried to craft them such that they give great insight into the type of ARPG game that my players would most enjoy.

So it seems like everyone and their mother has designed some sort of terminal tool and I didn't realize that. SO i made one. Here's my pitch. I have Evolved Edition and looking for optimal ways to solo-play the pre-written adventures like Hope's Last Day, Chariot of the Angels and Rapture Protocol among others. I have a bunch of homebrew material too I will explore.
I know we have Last Survivor rules, but they aren't exactly meant for pre-written adventures from what I understand.
Does anyone have any tips or ideas for how to run a (mostly) successful solo-compaign using pre-written material? Maybe a hybrid version of Last Survivor and pre-written cinematic scenarios is doable with some hobby-hacking mental models?
How do you handle the horror and surprise elements without too brash spoilers while still advancing the story and finding it enjoyable? I think I struggle most with how to handle this aspect of the game as a solo-player...

Hi running new hope one shot tomorrow but trying to figure out how many attack dice the xenomorph uses as can’t seem to find the attack table that states this in the core rulebook

I painted a Papsikel SOP, not sure why he is so large despite allegedly being 28mm scale but maybe he is just a gigachad prog. He will make a great villain to chase the players or a nice beefed up hero unit. I used gloss varnish on his armour and matte varnish on clothing, it looks better irl than on camera.

I've updated Alien RPG Tools and the Alien RPG Tools app so they support both the core rulebook and Evolved Edition. There is a dropdown in each tool where the edition matters. It's as simple as picking the edition and then using the tool.
