A bit of a nitpick
Don’t know if anyone has seen this before but I have a 407c x3 and decided to get another one in gold. The gold seems to be missing a small chunk out of the dot (yes I cleaned the emitter). Not the end of the world but makes it look lopsided like people describe having astigmatism. Had to make sure it wasn’t my eyes so took a picture.
Still going on a Glock 45 gonna shoot it because it shouldn’t make any real difference.

Easy way to tell; cowitness with irons and use the smallest aperture on the rear iron
It immediately stops bursting for me and I have absolute shit eyes
You'll be able to tell what the actual reticle looks like vs what you see

So it's just a different emitter. The fact that it's uniform leads me to believe it's not a defect or "problem"; it's just a different emitter.
Makes sense, since it's a totally different color.
Source; I work in optics, although I can't help explain much more outside of that about why gold has the gap. I've just seen different emitters
