I’ve been trying to get into adventure time and just can’t seem to. I really like episodes where it dives more into characters like the lich, or the ice kings back story, or finn’s past. (<— just in case something I referenced could be a spoiler, even a minor one)

I like when the episodes get a little more serious / more adult oriented if that makes sense.

I’m well aware this is a kids show, but I want to love it and for me, there are just too many episodes inbetween those more “serious” ones that makes it really difficult for me to stick with the show.

If anyone has a watch list of the best episodes of each season, that would be so amazing, kind of like a condensed version of adventure time!

Huge fan of both shows and most of the time if someone asks me between two characters I have a definitive winner in my mind. But between these two characters I genuinely can’t decide who would get the best of the other. I want to say garou could hold similar powers to golb but then again we have no true idea what golb is capable of. Anyone have any logical winner in mind?

Connections:

Both were once decent (somewhat) People.

Both had a blonde wife they genuinely love(d)

Both are Fathers of the great heroes

Both are very shitty fathers.

Both are (or were at one point) huge Criminals

I decided (sort of last minute lol) to be Huntress Wizard for Halloween, because my eldest changed his costume to Jake and Adventure Time is our thing together; these are all of the different leaves that I bought to fashion my Huntress wig; wish me luck lol my partner is currently off searching for the perfect sticks for my wig as well 😂🧡 I can’t wait to show you guys how it turns out (if it’s good, if it’s not this never happened lol)

Aren't they so cute!? 😫

Just got the collection (sealed) for my birthday and opened it up since I’ve seen many complaints about how lazily they put the discs in (which was true for my case as 2 discs were just shuffling around in there not in their holder), and have come to find that I’m missing a disc?

In S5E20 "Shh!", in a scene were mice awake from their slumber, the most soothing and heart-wrenching little theme plays.

I wonder if any of you beautiful people have any information on this tune, know where more of it could be found, or perhaps have heard something similar elsewhere that would help explore whatever this enchanting genre of music could be? Also why am I crying?

Jake even stretches when tapped :)

I would pick a crossover with wizards (1977), both it and adventure time are about resurrected magical beings, ancient evils, magic and eradicated mutants and both had a nuclear war in distant passed with only remnants of previous society remaining.

Now there is a time difference though Ooo is just 1 landmass and only other one really visited is where the human live so the idea of a seperate magical ecosystem on another island doesn't seem far fetched and also maybe time travel could be involved in transporting there and maybe getting back to Ooo since technology hopefully has grown in the millions of years that happened between both eras if we equate both of there wars and hopefully has a time machine to allow them to get back

I would think a graphic novel would be good if something were to happen though not sure if before or after events of wizards would be better but definitely should be fiona and cake era adult characters dealing with it since wizards was a more adult movie in aspects and how villian met there end was a bit dark, also the tonal differences could be interesting to think about between how both societies view technology.

I'm working on an art project and I'm looking for actual framed photos or pictures from within the show. For example, the naked lady behind Finn and Jake's table, the photo booth picture with Marcy & PB, and the picture of Sweet P, tree trunks, and Mr. Pig behind their dining room table. Can you think of any others?

What would happen if the Nightosphere Demons encountered a Banana Person?

Art is from the Adventure Time Wiki for Banana Guard and Demon Guard

Some fanart by me

Despite having spent an insane amount of time poring over all the little details and callbacks inside BMO(/King of Ooo)'s house in the finale, I guess I never paid that much attention to the exterior because BMO WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUILLOTINE ON YOUR ROOF?!

Is this a reference/from a previous episode that I'm forgetting?

(Also side note this is such a gorgeous shot)
