Discussion Please move away from Pterodactyl now

What has happened?

Okay, hear me out.

In December 2025, the Pterodactyl project (pterodactyl.io) was acquired by Infraly, LLC. You may know them from WISP.

After years of what felt like near-silence from the maintainers, this acquisition initially seemed like it could be an opportunity for some much-needed updates. Unfortunately, aside from security updates, very little happened over the following nine months. We mostly heard promises like “v2 is coming.”

Well, the time finally seems to have arrived. Pterodactyl v2 appears to be on its way, but with some rather unexpected surprises.

A few days before the announcement, they removed their community moderators, and replaced them with their own staff.

The community has been doing some digging, and it appears that the Pterodactyl team is introducing Pterodactyl+, a subscription-based model for certain features. Presumably, this will work through extensions or similar add-ons, much like what was offered with WISP.

On top of that, a staging panel was discovered. It didn't take long for community members to download the frontend files, map them onto v1, and create a working prototype.

When the Pterodactyl team discovered this, they began banning people from their Discord server, primarily accusing members of the Blueprint project of “leaking information.”

Who or what is Blueprint?

Blueprint is a non-profit organization that has spent years building an extension system for Pterodactyl.

After four years of development and active participation in the community, seeing the project treated this way is extremely disappointing. This is just a way to silence criticism.

Why should you care?

This is yet another instance of a for-profit corporation buying out a project, and enshittifying it. We can't let this happen *again*. The best way to be against this, is to replace your Pterodactyl instance with something else.

Please consider taking a look at:

Hydrodactyl: https://hydrodactyl.dev/

Calagopus: https://calagopus.com/

Both projects provide migration guides to help you make the switch.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Do not cause trouble in the Pterodactyl Discord server, since they do not seem to appreciate that.

Disclosure: I am affiliated with the Calagopus project. This does not change my perspective on this manner, I just want to be transparent.

PSA READ BEFORE POSTING - "Someone just logged into my server as me", "How did this person find my server", "My server got griefed", etc.

New Edit for 2026

We took this down in favor of other announcements late last year, as we only get 2 slots. It's back now because we've had a resurgence of this type of post.

Do not post about offline mode servers. Do not recommend software or plugins that help run one. You will be banned. Read the Admincraft Policy section at the bottom.

Thank you.

Hey there, REPO here. We get questions like this a LOT, so I'm trying something new. Please read the below before posting a thread like this.

"How did this person find my server!?!?!?!?!"

There are few enough IPv4 addresses that a simple bot made with ChatGPT and zero skill can scan the entire internet for Port 25565 in like 30 minutes. There are HUNDREDS of bots out there that do this 24/7/365. Some of them are benevolent (such as bots like matscan that warn people if their servers are dangerously insecure), some are neutral (like ServerScannerV2 which just accumulates data for their website project), and some are malicious and trying to grief servers.

"How do I make them stop?"

You don't. They will keep doing it forever. Most non-malicious bots will log into your server once, or sometimes once per some time interval, and then stop. Others that are coded poorly will be more persistent. And then the malicious ones will keep checking back continually.

If your server is secure but it still bothers you to see, you can add the source IP address to your firewall to prevent the connection. Some non-malicious bots will also have a website or Discord where you can request your server to be skipped.

"Is this dangerous?"

Nope. Not if your server is secured. There are no known exploits in Minecraft that allow a server scanning bot to run code on your host or escalate their privileges. The last time we had that was in 2022 with the Log4J exploit, which was quickly patched, even by Mojang. If you aren't deliberately using an old minor patch of Minecraft, you're fine.

"How did they log in as me / Herobrine?"

(Note: If you only see a name like that instantly disconnecting, skip to the next section. This only applies if they actually appear in game.)

Your server is running in Offline Mode, which is a config option in the server.properties that is intended only for use on a home LAN that is not connected to the internet. Most people use this feature to avoid having to buy a license for Minecraft, aka "cracked accounts". Please be aware that this is illegal and is considered software piracy by most governments.

Minecraft servers send information about the server to players on the server list, including a partial list of currently logged in users. You can disable this "feature" in the server.properties file by setting hide-online-players=true. Malicious bots typically sit and watch a server for a while, gathering a list of players over some amount of time, assuming that if the server is in Offline Mode, one or more of those players will have Operator permissions. They then log in as all users in rapid succession until they find one that does, and use the Operator permissions to grief your server.

"I see a player disconnecting but never connecting! How are they doing that?"

It's just a bot using an offline mode account. It is only showing as Disconnecting because it is getting filtered by the security systems you have in place AFTER the server knows that it is trying to connect, but BEFORE it actually does. Showing the Disconnected message is just the server's way of informing you that the login attempt was rejected. Nothing to worry about. You can ignore it.

"My server got griefed, what do I do?"

You restore from backup, secure your server, and move on. The groups that do this are doing it for amusement and power fantasy. Some of them insist that you can request a world backup from their Discord, but the whole point of that is to mock you and make you beg for their mercy. They might actually give it to you, I don't know.

"How do I secure my server?"

You set Online Mode to true in the server.properties and run a whitelist. That's it. Those 2 options are 100% effective at preventing unwanted people from gaining access to your server. You do not need to do anything else whatsoever to be secure, but you can optionally change your server's port from 25565 to any other unassigned port. This will make it much slower for server scanners to find your server, as most are lazy and don't check non-standard ports. Note that this only reduces the odds of a server scanner finding you; it does not make you more secure.

Additionally, having automatically executed, scheduled backups running at predictable intervals is an excellent idea just in case something goes wrong. Ensure that you periodically verify that your backups are usable by doing a test restore on another machine, as a backup solution that has never been tested is basically worthless.

Finally, a block logging plugin such as Prism (V3 stable Download | Github) (V4 alpha Download | Github) is recommended, as it allows you as the Admin to roll back individual unwanted changes without doing a full backup restoration.

Admincraft Policy

If your post contains any information that indicates that you are running an Offline Mode server, your post will be removed and you will be banned for 28 days for your first offense.

Additionally, suggesting methods for a user to continue running an Offline Mode server "safely" will earn a 7 day ban for commenters. This includes whatever plugin or launcher you're wondering about right now as you read this.

Admincraft is in active communication with Mojang Intellectual Property Enforcement, the team within Mojang that actively hunts down servers and other individuals and groups that are breaking their EULA and MUG. They watch here regularly, and if we do not enforce this, there is a nonzero chance that Mojang, Microsoft, or Reddit would shut down our subreddit. Keeping the subreddit open for everyone for the long run is the priority. We cannot and will not support Offline Mode servers.

The only times when discussing an Offline Mode server is allowed are when you clearly state that your server is not accessible to the internet and that all players have a legal Minecraft account, or when it is behind an Online Mode proxy, such as Velocity.

This post

Please use the comments here to suggest additions to this FAQ/guide, and to ask clarifying questions about Admincraft policies and security best practices. Do not state or imply that you are currently running an Offline Mode server.

Help/Question Is it possible to run a server with mods which allows both Vanilla Java and Bedrock players to join?

• Upvotes

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to set up a Minecraft server with a very specific configuration,

Here is what I want to do:
- Server-Side Mods: I want to add mods to the server, but they must be server-side. It should be able to join using a completely vanilla client without installing any mods on their end.
- Bedrock Crossplay: I want Bedrock players to be able to join and play on the same server.

I know GeyserMC is usually work for Bedrock crossplay on Paper servers, but since I want to use mods, I’m unsure how well things like server-side modpacks interact with Geyser and Bedrock clients.

Has anyone successfully pulled off a setup like this? What server software, mod loaders, or specific frameworks do you recommend to make server-side mods work for both vanilla Java and Bedrock players?

Thanks for the help!

Help/Question Updated to Paper 26.3, attribute/lunge swapping is seemingly gone

Hello everyone,
Since upgrading my server to paper 26.3, my community has been complaining about lunge swapping being gone. From what I understand attribute swapping should still be a thing.
Confirmed in my config:

update-equipment-on-player-actions: false

Anything I am missing here? I am thinking that bringing back lunge swapping would require a small plugin, maybe someone has already made some, but I can't determine if attribute swapping is gone all together.

I can't find much about it online, but seems like Mojang removed it and brought it back in a 26.2 prerelease.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Discussion how does one successfully jump start an economy in minecraft?

I have a server and we implemented the vault and essentialsX plugin, the problem is—we don't really know how we'll roll it out. How do we get the money to start circulating around the server without risking inflation or similar problems that could ruin the economy altogether. So with that context, any tips???

Help/Question Anyone else able to join Minecraft BDS through Tailscale on iOS client?

I've been trying to share out my self-hosted Minecraft BDS server with family by using Tailscale but running into a wall. So I was wondering if anyone else has this same setup working?

My setup:

Minecraft BDS v1.26.52.3 running in Crafty Controller. Crafty Controller running within Ubuntu Server 26.04 LXC container on Proxmox 9.2. Tailscale also installed the same LXC container (named crafty).

The LXC machine has been shared out through Tailscale. Family has installed the Tailscale app on iPads, but Minecraft will not connect (tried using the shared machine's Tailscale IP and Tailscale FQDN). Always getting connection failed with "NetherNet" error. "Error Detail InitialConnection-13".

The weird thing is that I can connect from my iPhone via cellular through Tailscale, but only if I use the short, MagicDNS name. If I try to use the Tailscale FQDN or the Tailscale IP, I get the same error. And if I connect to WiFi (different network from local server), then even the short, MagicDNS name stops working.

I've gone through quite a bit of troubleshooting. Running tcpdump shows traffic when I connect successfully on my iPhone via cellular and the Tailscale MagicDNS name. But there are no packets received when trying to connect via any other method through Tailscale.

I should add that when pinging the shared machine through the Tailscale app on my iPhone and family's iPads, it shows direct connection to the shared machine.

This makes me think the issue might be isolated to the how the Minecraft client operates on iOS.

So.... has anyone out there successfully shared Minecraft BDS using Tailscale with iOS clients?

Or, maybe just as helpful, anyone else running into the same issue?

Software Resource I created a Wake Proxy for Crafty Controller to save server resources!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a project I recently put together called Crafty Controller Wake Proxy

The problem it solves: Running a Minecraft server 24/7 consumes a lot of RAM, CPU, and electricity, especially when no one is playing. I wanted a way to shut down my servers when they are empty, but still allow my friends to connect whenever they want without me having to manually log in and start the server for them

What it does: It acts as a lightweight proxy for your Minecraft servers managed by Crafty Controller. When a player tries to join, the proxy intercepts the connection, automatically starts the server via the Crafty API, and lets the player in once it is fully booted

Additionally, the proxy monitors player activity. If the server is empty for 10 minutes, it will automatically shut it down. This ensures your server only consumes resources when people are actually playing!

How to run It: It is very flexible. You can run it directly on standard Linux, a PC, or a VPS via the command line (CLI). Alternatively, you can run it using Docker on any type of server or NAS. You will find all the step-by-step setup instructions right in the repository

A quick note on development: I built this tool with the help of AI, but it was done entirely under my strict supervision. I have personally reviewed, tweaked, and rigorously tested the code to ensure it is stable and works exactly as intended

You can check out the repository, setup instructions, and the code here:https://github.com/thanatos84/Crafty-Controller-Wake-Proxy

Software Resource I created a simple and free plugin to detect client sided mods

https://modrinth.com/plugin/unhacked

https://github.com/bishops-exe/unhacked

Unhacked is a simple, plug-and-play server-sided plugin to detect client side mods and resourcepacks using the sign translation exploit.

It uses packets to create a per player sign, where it prints translation keys, to detect how the client processes them.

It provides great configuration capabilities and allows you to integrate punishment commands from your favorite plugins!

As mentioned before, Unhacked is completely free and open-source. After installing, please make sure you have the following runtime dependencies installed:

If you would like to see other features/integrations dont hesitate to open a github issue or a pull request.

LLM Disclosure:

  • Models used: Claude Opus 5.5
  • What did claude do?: Claude helped analyze incoming packets and generate POC code for sign manipulating code

Discussion World of Warcraft created in MineCraft server with only plugins

I've re-created World of Warcraft, as many people have attempted over the last decade+ in MineCraft using only Paper plugins (Plus optional client side visual mods such as minimap, shaders).

It's on 1.21.4 at the moment, not available to play - just developing and showing off the project. It has been a challenging experience to replicate the game as best as possible, and probably a stupid project :)

I've used a mix of MMOCore (and related plugins), BetonQuest, Model Engine, MythicMods. Plus a few custom plugins.

I posted a new video update about it if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WLe5jzXpTw&lc=Ugw3GhBKXJ1hXAsFRuJ4AaABAg

If you have any feedback, thoughts, happy to hear it.

Software Resource I ported the OneBlock plugin to Folia, and the same jar still runs on Paper and Spigot

OneBlock (by MrMarL, MIT) wouldn't load on Folia, so I ported it. It's free and open source, and I've opened a PR so the original author can merge it.

What changed: - All scheduling goes through a small bridge that detects Folia at runtime. Block generation runs on the island's region thread, borders and protection run on the player's thread, and console commands run on the global thread. - Teleports use teleportAsync. - When a player joins, the island is built on its own region before they're teleported there. - On Spigot and Paper the code takes the original paths, so it's the same jar for every server type.

Tested in-game on Folia 26.2 (join, block regen, progress bar, particles, borders, leave point, protection) and on Paper 26.2. Not tested yet: chest loot, reward commands, WorldGuard/ItemsAdder/Oraxen/Nexo. Bug reports are welcome on the GitHub repo.

LLM disclosure: The port was written with Claude Code (Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5) as an agent. It analysed the plugin, wrote the scheduler bridge and all the code changes, and ran the console tests on Folia and Paper. I directed the work and did the in-game testing. So the code is mostly AI-written, with a human directing and testing it.

Discussion PSA: malware found in 16 Bukkit/Paper plugins from CurseForge and Modrinth, check your plugins folder

Hidden plugin installers, a crypto miner, a chat backdoor and IP grabbers.

Each file was decompiled and checked by hand. I reported the ones still online to CurseForge and Modrinth today.

  • DelexeHub, BedWars Minigame, BestKitPvP, EasyGUIShop, HubParkour, AntiFreecam, Better Horse Teleport, AntiNetherRoof Plus: a download address hidden in Base64 fetches another jar at startup, saves it in your plugins folder and loads it. Look for jars you did not add, like BukkitScheduler.jar, BukkitSupport.jar or SpigotSupport.jar.
  • PGCVisibility 1.0.0: downloads xmrig and mines Monero on your server. Version 1.2.0 is clean.
  • PlayerLocation, BerryAntiCheat, LippelHome: the same injected code, which loads a jar from a fake bStats host (panel.bstats.co). It looks like it spreads into other plugins on the same server.
  • SimpleMute: any chat message starting with a secret prefix runs as a shell command on the machine. It also sends your server IP and port out at startup.
  • End Control: loads a jar from a hidden address through a fake BungeeCord class.
  • SCF Slime Chunk Finder: loads code from a hidden address at startup.
  • Anti Hack for updated versions: a GrimAC copy that posts your server IP and port to a Discord webhook.

If you ran any of these: remove it, check your plugins folder for jars you did not add, and treat the machine as compromised. Change passwords, rotate keys and tokens, and reinstall if you can.

I listed every plugin with exactly what its file does: https://modgrade.com/reports (I run that site, it checks mods, modpacks and plugins from CurseForge and Modrinth).

You can also drop your whole plugins folder into https://modgrade.com/scanner to check it.

If you made one of these and think it’s a mistake, tell me and I’ll look again.

Software Resource I made a Paper plugin that gives the Dragon Egg permanent buffs and extra hearts

On most SMPs, the Dragon Egg just sits in an Ender Chest doing nothing after the dragon fight. I wanted players to actually have a reason to fight over it, so I made Dragon Egg Blessing.

It turns the vanilla Dragon Egg into an endgame item that gives whoever has it permanent potion buffs and extra hearts. It works really well for Lifesteal or PvP survival servers where you want the egg to be a real trophy.

Everything is server-side (Paper 1.21.x+) and you can tweak the buffs and hearts in the config.

Links if you want to try it or check out the code:

Let me know if you run into any bugs or want any other config options added! I want as much feedback as possible to improve my current plugins and help me develop new ones.

LLM Disclosure:

  • LLM Used: Antigravity (Model 3.8)
  • How it was used: I designed the plugin concept, gameplay rules, and feature specifications, and used Antigravity (Model 3.8) to assist with generating and structuring the Java code, Paper API event handling, and config logic, while I manually tested, debugged, and configured the plugin on a Paper server.
  • How much it was used: Heavy LLM coding assistance / vibe coding (~70–85% of the boilerplate and implementation via Antigravity Model 3.8, guided by my prompts and manual in-game testing).

Software Resource I made a free site for sharing Minecraft logs, plus a plugin that sends your server errors to Discord. Your IP gets hidden in the browser before upload

LLM disclosure (rule 9):

- Model: Claude (Anthropic), used through Claude Code.

- Code: Claude wrote part of it, about 20% by my own estimate, and I wrote the rest. I decide what gets built, and I review the changes and run the test suite (about 280 tests) before anything goes in.

- Copy: the website text, the FAQ and this post were written with Claude's help, then edited by me.

- The repo has a progress.md and agent config files, because I work with Claude sessions on parts of the project.

Hey all, I’m the dev, so yes, this is self-promo. If it breaks a rule here, tell me and I’ll take it down.

You’ve seen this a hundred times in help channels. Someone pastes 4,000 lines of log into Discord, it gets cut off halfway, the file has their IP and Windows username in it, and the helper still can’t find the crash. That’s why I built minelog. https://minelog.org

I know mclo.gs exists and it’s good, I’ve used it for years. I’m not trying to replace it. I just wanted a few things on top, mostly privacy and the server side.

The simple part: paste a server log, client log or crash report and you get a short link back. No account needed.

What it does:

  • Hides IP addresses, user folder names, tokens and emails in your browser first, then again on the server before anything is saved.
  • Reads the log for you. You get the Minecraft and Java versions, the mod list, and the usual crash causes, each with the lines that back it up.
  • Highlights errors and warnings, lets you link to a single line, and has search and filters.
  • Logs delete themselves after 120 days. If private details weren’t hidden, after 2 days.

The server side, for admins:

  • A plugin for Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia, BungeeCord, Waterfall and Velocity. Run /minelog share and the link lands right in chat.
  • If you connect a server to your account, the plugin watches the log, groups the errors and saves them under Alerts. It can also ping a Discord, Slack, Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, Guilded or Mattermost webhook when something breaks, or when the server starts and stops.
  • There’s Skript support too, so you can react to TPS drops or send your own alerts from a script.

For developers:

  • A public API for uploading, reading and deleting logs, and for analysing one without saving it.
  • There’s also an endpoint that matches mclo.gs, so tools built for it keep working. You just swap the address.

It’s free. The code is on GitHub (https://github.com/LogicByteORG/minelog), but heads up, it’s source available under PolyForm Shield, not open source. You can read it, run it and send fixes. You just can’t launch a competing log site with it.

It’s still new, so I’d like to hear where it breaks. If you have a weird log or crash report it reads wrong, send it over and I’ll add a rule for it.

Help/Question Is my laptop good enough to host an All the Mods 9 server for 4–5 players?

Hi everyone,

I want to host an All the Mods 9 (ATM9, the regular version) Minecraft server on my laptop, while playing on my separate gaming PC.

My laptop specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core 7 150U (10 cores, 12 threads)
  • RAM: 16GB DDR5
  • Storage: 512GB SSD

The laptop will only run the server, not the Minecraft client.

I'm planning to allocate around 12GB of RAM to the server and have 4–5 players playing together.

My questions:

  1. Is this CPU powerful enough to run ATM9 smoothly with 4–5 players?
  2. Will 8GB of RAM be enough for the server?
  3. What kind of performance should I expect during exploration and when players build large automated farms?
  4. What settings or optimizations would you recommend?
  5. Would I need a more powerful CPU, or is my current laptop good enough?

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has hosted ATM9 on similar hardware. Thanks!

Software Resource TailCraft — a free, source-available GUI launcher that opens a Minecraft server in one click (no port forwarding)

Thanks to the mod team for allowing a repost after I made it source-available.

TailCraft is a free Windows GUI launcher for hosting a Minecraft server for friends without the usual setup pain — no port forwarding, no manual Java install, no digging through server jars.

What it does

- Run one EXE → pick a language (EN/KO) → an 8-step tutorial walks you to a running server.

- Server types: Paper, Purpur, Folia, Fabric, NeoForge, Forge, and Arclight (Bukkit plugins on a modded server). Versions/builds load automatically; the right Java (8/17/21/25) is installed for you.

- Connect 3 ways: Tailscale (no port forwarding), port forwarding (with UPnP), or LAN. Folia is port-forward-only by design.

- Live dashboard (CPU/RAM/disk/players), Modrinth mod & plugin manager, player tools (whitelist/OP/kick/ban, nickname+IP), console with quick-commands, a separate event-log tab, and one-click diagnostics.

On the concerns raised last time

- Source-available: the full source (launcher.ps1 + lib/core.ps1, the Go EXE wrapper, PDF build scripts) is on GitHub so anyone can audit it. The license keeps modification/redistribution restricted, but reading and auditing is the whole point.

- No bundled third-party software. No server jar, Java, or Tailscale client is included. Everything is downloaded at runtime from official sources (PaperMC, FabricMC, NeoForged, Forge, Modrinth, Adoptium, Tailscale) at the user's choice — so I'm not redistributing Tailscale or anything else.

- Integrity check: the EXE verifies the SHA-256 of its bundled script at launch and refuses to run if tampered with. The official hash is published in the README so you can verify your download with certutil.

Unofficial tool, not affiliated with Mojang/Microsoft/Tailscale/PaperMC/etc. Windows 10/11.

Help/Question Minecraft Java server: CNAME doesn’t work with Playit.gg, and SRV records aren’t supported

Hi everyone,

I’m hosting a Minecraft Java Edition server using Paper and Playit.gg, and I’m having trouble connecting through my custom domain.

Here’s my setup:
Server software: Paper
Tunneling service: Playit.gg
DNS: I configured a CNAME record pointing to my Playit.gg hostname.

Limitation: My domain provider doesn’t support SRV records, so I can only configure a CNAME record.
Connecting directly through the Playit.gg address works, but connecting through my custom domain doesn’t.

Since I can’t use SRV records with my domain provider, is there any way to make the custom domain work for Minecraft Java Edition using only a CNAME record?

I’d appreciate any suggestions or alternative solutions. Thanks!

Discussion Your experience on RPG/MMORPG servers

Since Ivw been planning to create a server like this (or at least a system/plugin for it for others) for months now, Id like to know if there are people here who actually play on (MMO)/RPG servers. If so, what do you like the most? Is it a certain feature? The story? The quests? Or something that no other RPG servers have?

For example, my current plan includes a main story written (by a person) that spans several pages in Word, and Im still working on it because its very complex and really hard to create a story (features, quests, etc.) that makes sense.

I just want to hear your thoughts on this specific category.

News Minecraft Servers and PHP Vulnerability PSA

Howdy y’all,

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, especially those of you who self-host Pterodactyl and haven’t updated things in a while. (Guilty myself)

On October 21st, two critical PHP vulnerabilities were disclosed, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619. Both can potentially allow remote code execution (RCE), meaning under the right conditions someone could execute code on the machine running your panel without needing to authenticate.

This isn’t specifically a Pterodactyl vulnerability, it’s an issue with PHP itself, which Pterodactyl uses for its web panel. Not every installation is necessarily exploitable, but it’s definitely something worth checking.

I came across this while working on my own hosting software and figured I’d share it here too.

A few things worth knowing:
- Pterodactyl’s developers have already made changes to both the 1.x and 2.x development branches to mitigate part of the risk associated with CVE-2026-109619. So credit where it’s due, they have been addressing it.

- Those changes aren’t a replacement for updating PHP itself. The PHP security team recommends updating to fully address both vulnerabilities.
If you’re running your panel through Docker, check the PHP version inside the actual container. Updating PHP on your host machine won’t necessarily update the container.

- If you’re renting a Minecraft server from a hosting company, you probably don’t need to worry about updating PHP yourself. Your host would handle that. But even if you have no idea what panel they’re using, it wouldn’t hurt to ask if they’re aware of the recent PHP vulnerabilities and whether any updates are needed on their end. Not every hosting company uses Pterodactyl, but PHP is used in plenty of other applications too.

Patched PHP versions:
PHP 8.2.35
PHP 8.3.36
PHP 8.4.27
PHP 8.5.12

Obviously, use a version that’s supported by your particular Pterodactyl installation. Some Linux distributions also backport security fixes, so the version number alone isn’t always the whole story.

Not saying everyone’s installation is vulnerable or that there’s some widespread attack happening. Just figured with how many Minecraft servers and other communities rely on Pterodactyl, it was worth putting this out there.

If you haven’t checked your panel and PHP versions recently, I’d recommend doing so.

Stay safe everyone!

Edit 1:

u/FrisbeeVR brings up a good addition:
> Should assume vulnerability if you have a web service period. Any panel, not just the one you mentioned, or those maps that you access through a website.

Help/Question How do i make a server hub for my server?

Right now I have multiverse core and made a hub in a super flat world, I used essentials to set the spawn point to the hub, I have citizens npc's to teleport you to different worlds. How would I fix this to where if you did /spawn it puts you to the survival spawn, but also make another command like /hub to teleport you to the hub?
