Learning Is Ada a good language for a beginner interested in building custom tools?

Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new to programming and I only know the absolute basics (variables, simple loops/functions).

I've been looking into Ada because it looks very interesting, clean, and robust. I have a strong interest in building and using my own custom tools.

Since I don't have a massive programming background yet, I was wondering:

Is Ada a manageable language for a relative beginner to start with, or is it too steep of a climb?

What are the best resources, tutorials, or entry points to learn Ada from scratch?

For someone wanting to build their own tools, how well does Ada fit that use case, and what kind of projects should I start with?

I'd love to hear your experiences and any tips for starting out with Ada!

Thanks in advance!
