I became a dad at 50. I'm 55 now, I can barely even pick up my 5 year old.

That was one of my biggest struggles growing up because my dad was always too old to do anything with me, given heās not that fit either.
I encourage you to stay active and try to be as young as possible so you can do things with your son for as long as possible→ More replies (1)2

My husband and I had our twins when he was in his 50ās and heās 61 now and he still throws our 7 year olds around and runs miles. Maybe you should exercise a little

Kiss your wife, play (ninja level) with your son. A good life.

That kid will always have his head on a swivel and never taken by a sucker punch.

I used to play fight like this with my uncle when he would be in town. We would be hanging out at my grandparents house and rough housing. Well one time we were rough-housing and my 4ā10ā grandmother saw my uncle fighting with me and commenced to whooping him with her shoe while yelling āyou no hit grandsonā!

I wish he was my dad too although that's kind of weird and impossible because I'm about 25 years older than him.

the amount of disrespect and slander I would've gotten for walking into the house with shoes on while the wife is sweeping....

Today the broom handle wasn't thrown into the tv. Tomorrow is another day.
