"Meditation I" is a stand-alone, long-form generative piece exploring textures, slow volume drifts and sustained atmospheric stillness. This was composed entirely with stock Ableton synths and effects from Live 12 Suite and relied specifically on the "Inspired by Nature" pack.

Recorded in F Major, it uses "Tree Tones" and "Bouncy Notes" along with pads from Drift and the Upright Piano pack from Spitfire Audio routed through a single effects send with Hybrid Reverb set to "Bigger Spaces."

The entire session was mapped across a 3-controller Novation hardware setup of 2 Launchpad Pro mk3' and a Launch Control XL3.

As always, no AI was used in the creation of the music or the video. Heaven Spins Gray keeps music human.

The full 1-hour session and video are now live on YouTube - link available on the HSG profile. Happy to answer any questions, and thank you for listening.

Peace, HSG

When working on large sessions, the Arrangement View can easily become overwhelming, even when groups are collapsed.

It would be amazing to have a simple “Hide Groups” option that flattens the view by showing all tracks inside the groups at the same level, without the extra group containers taking up space.

That way, we could focus on the structure and flow of the song without all the visual hierarchy, and then bring the group layout back when needed.

I made a quick mockup to show what I mean.

Would anyone else find this useful?
