Maybe it's a reservation thing but I feel like getting K.O.'d and bleeding heavily from the head is a pretty good reason to call an ambulance and go to a hospital, not a school nurse. It'll feel pretty lame to me if she's actually getting killed off here. She's a good actress.

It's really bothered me. Maybe Montana cowboys and Rez people are just tough guys. But a normal bloke would cherish Monica as her husband and a father of their kid, especially after her brother and sister-in-law had dead. It should be an instinctive behaviour.

I know right? At least we now know why Kayce was branded. And why would they not take her to a hospital..?

Did you see how much blood she lost in the playground? A bandage for a head wound like that... The person going to prison should be the school nurse.

John wasn’t too far off the mark either when he told her to “man up”

A new alliance is made - Indian casino chief and billionaire wannabe cowboy. Match made in heaven.
Did anyone else think it was a bit weird discussing their 'strategy' to take down John while the 2 Indians were clearly within earshot at the hotel?

This whole dynamic just seems a little to similar to the storyline with Walt, Barlow and Nighthorse in Longmire. Don’t get me wrong, I love this show. Hands down, my favorite on tv. It just seems like there could be different storylines to write other than “Cowboys vs Indians & The Monopoly Man”

Who were the people with the drone?
Could it be the oil company looking for places to drill? Or were they specifically spying on Kayce because he is a Dutton? Maybe it was those women (who we saw fishing) who seem to be reporters? (Or maybe just one of them is.)
Agree with everyone else that Monica should have been taken to the hospital. Really shocked (and absolutely hate it) that they would write her out of the story like that. I thought her presence on the ranch introduced a compelling dynamic between Kayce and his father. And now that is gone.
Eta: Many people here (and elsewhere online) think that the scene may have been misleading, and that she survived. I hope Monica lives!

Mannnn I'm gonna be pissed if Monica is actually dead. I thought she was a breath of fresh air and brought another side to the story. Also, what's the deal with the dramatic sound and cut to black every single commercial break?

Best part of this show and this episode is easily John's interactions with his children. Powerful stuff.

I like this show, but this episode was ridiculous. It was like Days of Our Lives on steroids. A bear encounter to start, Monica just so happens to get clobbered with a punch, and then she goes unconscious and falls down like a sack of potatoes. I don’t know why they need to create unlikely situations almost every episode just for the sake of bad drama.

The actress, who was on Bones, I think is a journalist. Because the other one said, you're working now(or something to that).

So....Jamie really isn't gay? I assumed Beth was joking at first and then she dropped another gay joke I thought okay maybe he actually is. But then this episode he seemed quite smitten with that campaign manager (Christina?). There are obvious hints that she will be a love interest for him.

My jaw dropped when John yelled at Beth saying what he said to her about her mother. WoW..
