I often note the tap water has a scent of chlorine to it.

Even though Severn Trent (water provider to the area) apparently meets regulations. Surely water smelling of chlorine isn't safe?

I'm 27 and moved to the midlands not tooo long ago. I've made great community ties and now have a few friends close by, but would love to connect with more women that share mutual interests

I love gardening, reading (romantic fantasy), gaming (mostly Planet Zoo, Apex, Avatar but have played a lot others in the past, also love a boardgame), crafting, cooking (I'm vegetarian but easy going and happy to cook other stuff), I love wild swimming and want to get more into walking/hiking.

I guess I'm craving a sense of community and am looking to build my "village" - I'd love to host dinner parties and spend more time outdoors with friends etc. If anyone wants to connect just drop a comment 🫶🫶🌿

Anyone know a good c.£25 or less mens hairdresser in Worcester city centre or nearby? Not after a fade, or places offering booze or loud music - just a decent trim for a 40 year old :-)

Any recommendations for restaurants with good gluten free menus / cater well for Coeliacs?
Cote Brasserie has been the go to option but looking for other options.

Which charity shops are the best option.

I was at a clients' home nearby and when I got back to the car I noticed the fire red sky. Knowing there was a better spot for a photo I zipped up the road past ex-county hall and snapped this ❤️.

Taken on a Google Pixel 8, no manual edits. Only whatever internal shenanigans the phone does.

Anyone around 18 yo what to chat I recently turned 18 and wandering if any wants to chat or hangout

He is a very sweet boy.

Some suggestions of what do do this weekend in Worcester!

Great food and awesome art!

Your gig not showing? You can add then online via the SLAP Mag website.

As a follow on from my post yesterday asking why people in Worcester tend not to bother supporting original artists and their music, I'm showing the link to Slap Mag who list all the live music happening each week in our city & indeed other areas

https://www.slapmag.co.uk/events/worcester/

I'm personally going to see The gig on at The Marrs Bar on Sunday 25th as I've seen all 3 original bands before & 2 of them started out at jam nights!

So if you like Indie/ Alt Rock and like a bargain of 3 bands for a tenner ( plus its an extra hour in bed, half term week & the doors open earlier at 7.30pm & the gig finishes earlier ) it's a no brainer to go support grassroots music in our premier grassroots venue

Hope to see some new faces!! Oh & they're apparently inviting people to turn up wearing Halloween costumes 😁

Being fairly new to Reddit & exploring its communities, I am surprised, or maybe I'm not, at the serious lack of mentioning anything to do with the live music that happens in our city on a weekly basis. Especially there's a noticible lack of the under 40s attending any live music happening here.

I see the same regular faces supporting the scene week in , week out. Excellent visiting artists suffer poor ticket sales or cancellations, yet have sell outs in the surrounding areas.

Are Worcester people killing off their own live music scene & why?

We embarrassingly don't even have a rehearsal space anymore!

Hi all, this is clearly the most important issue of the day…

My little sister lives abroad and is visiting soon, and she’s desperate for a Sunday pub lunch, specifically… lamb.

Does anyone have any recommendations somewhere in the county to help the sheep craving and to save me from slaving away in the kitchen? x

Just moved to Worcester - does anyone know any mobile barbers? Since Covid I’ve developed a dislike to sitting in barbershops, I know there’s some great shops in Worcester, but I’m looking purely for mobile 🙏 TIA

Hey all, long time Worcester resident and parent to two young kids. I've always found it difficult to find out everything that's going on in the city for kids and so I thought I'd try to build a website to help people find the great places and events for kids in the city.

It's still a work in progress and any feedback or missing places/events would be gratefully received.

What’s everyone’s experience of parking availability at Parkway now? If I go at 07:30, will there be spaces?

Suprised to learn that Councillor Alan Amos, the leader of Worcestershire's opposition Reform UK group, is in favour of all forms of transport...

Hey, so i live in gregorys bank.Car got broken into last night, just wondering if anyone else has had something similar?

My neighbour has a camera - this **** tried their cars last night but got into mine (it was locked 100000% and sods law my 24 hour dash cam didnt record this ay...)

I know you cant see his face, but if anyone has had something similar let me know i have a police number, let's get this scrotum where he belongs dirty greasy haired f***

Hi - I am looking for some medal holder display pieces to be 3d printed (similar to the ones pictured - but happy with a circle/square or rectangle) with associated hooks for them to be hung on a brick wall. I’m not looking for fancy colours etc.

4 of the medals are 15cm circles.

The other 5 all have slightly different sizes as below;

1 - 16cm High x 13.5cm width
1 - 16cm High x 14.5cm width
1 - 17.5cm High x 15.5cm width
1 - 17cm High x 12.5cm width
1 - 34.5cm width x 8cm high (it’s a lightening bolt so it’s more long and thin)

Is there any local hobbyist who could help with this? Happy to pay for materials and time.

“Hellooo, who is it?”
