(I didn't know what flair to put htis under)

So I'm a begineer witch. I've been doing this for about 2 months now.

My family is Hindu, and also a little strict and toxic with it. So when I started not believing in god I obvoiusly didn't tell them. I just go along with whatever things they do, and I don't look to tell them ever, in general my plan is to cut contact with them once I move out.

Back to the point: Even as a witch I don't work with or worship any dieties and I don't look to do that. But I knwo my parents would absolutely not be okay with me doing witchcraft.

And since I'm a broom closet, a lot of my spells are just energy work, or sigils or intention speaking/incantations (pretty new to this one). I only do spells with herbs or fire when my parents are gone somwhere for a long time. yesterday they were, and I did about 2 things. And I rmeember how freeing it felt to do those without fear of putting it away quickly because I knew my parents were gone far away. And also how I could just be like oh I want to do this spell, and I do it.

Obviously sigil magic, enregy work and all that works too. But I love the type of magic I did yesterday. With ingredients, and candles, and fire, and talking my intention into my ingredients. I was just wondering if anybody here was a broom closet and they had any advice on how I can make things a bit more magical for me? Next time I'm alone I'm thinking to do a spell to make it so that I have more alone time at home, but for now, any advice on how to make my daily life more magical as a witch? (I already do sigil signs, talking to the moon, etc..)

Hey I never get much traction on reddit, however people in my country can't buy a house or eat throughout the whole month while rich Isrealis and American digital nomads buy and rise the cost of living the double of our minimum wage. Our right wing parlament and police force are injuring and tear gassing pacifist civillians, are chasing and preventing people from safely leave the protests with vehicles and dogs and I can't take this anymore. Hello, Im a witch and medium among other things. My practice involves mostly working with my spirits and elevating the dead who come to me and it brings me a lot of meaning and peace. I also was instucted by some of my spirits to perform curse work on those causing me and the millions of oppressed people great harm as well as perpetuating evil that have been going on in the USA and abroad for generations, I spent a lot of time maybe 3 weeks total cursing Donald Trump his cabinet and his biggest financial supporters as instucted by some of my guides, I am just one person I know and these are people with a lot of power and money behind them but hey I believe it could help and I know Im not the only one ha ha it also makes me feel so much better . Hey witches...

I've never done a post like this before but here I am I guess. I have curly hair. And i've spent a lot of my life not knowing how to style it and not feeling pretty as pretty in it.

Only recently I've learend how to style it, and it had become very long, around my tailbone. Yesterday I decided I wanted to get some layers, and I decided to cut it myself. Long story short, I did some things which resulted in me cutting way too much, and layers that are only 2-sectional if you get what I mean.

I'm just so energetically attached to my long hair, I had a genuine relationship with my haircare, in a magical way too. And I loved it so much. And I was litearlly crying in the bathroom earlier before I went to bed about how some of the hairstyles don't look as pretty. The thing is its not that short "LOGICALLY".

My friends and anybody else can't even notice I've cut it, but its about 1 inch off the mid of back when it used to be around the tailbone, so obviously...it feels a lot to me.

I did a spell earlier today for long hair growth, so that'll help this situation. But I was hoping if any of you could send me some postive energy or energy to look at this in a more positive way. Any advice from anybody gone through something similiar?

My long curly hair was a large part of what made me feel pretty, and I still am pretty, but it was a part of me....and its...just, I just feel so terrible and I have no one to blame but myself.

...But sometimes you just get the urge for some magic!

This is my second annual trans punk/riotgrrrl/POC punk music festival called Genderfest, it happens on Nov 14th in brooklyn new york, and my witchpunk band tricktheriddle is also playing. The lineup features a wide breadth of bands that are hardcore, poppunk, alternative rock, and each one has someone from the communites I mentioned above. If anyone is interested, I've attached the flyer, but I'm proud that the event is happening for a second time, and wanted to share that the punk spirit is alive and well in brooklyn, despite all the gentrification and cosplaying nepobabies. there are still a few of us living as broke artists with someone to stay and spit to throw at a face. f the sellout CBGB festival, i'm glad it was canceled! i may or may not have cast a spell to make it rain that day. hope the witches are well in these turbulent times <3

I am so tired of waiting to drink the champagne in my fridge. Like every day I wake up and think, today would be a great day to drink champagne, and then I can’t. So much so that I started posting it as a regular comment this week.

Then I came across a really great TikTok that was exactly about this subject! Tomorrow, a group of us are taking out our Joy Champagne that’s been waiting in the fridge and putting it into the moonlight to bathe in the full moon overnight. Then back into the fridge she goes until Halloween.

Hello! We are making a cozy organizing game. You play as a novice Witch, who's Grandpa has gone on a vacation and left a his Alchemy Shop at their care, but experiment at cauldron went not quite as planned and now whole shop is a mess. So your task is to tidy up the place and sort 3338 potions, alchemy ingredients and Books and, also - brew potions to do it faster and better!

We do not use gen AI and we didn't use any assets for items you are going to sort. Eveything was handcrafted by us with lots of attention to details and visuals. For example, designs of the potions reflect their category and effects. For example, the potion that makes you speak backwards looks like an upside down bottle :) We put lots of care into each single item and everything in the game is intentional ^_^

Many alchemy ingredients featured in our game are real (we also have some fictional ones) and many of them have descriptions and flavour texts based on folklore and witchcraft.

We also have fictional alchemy-related books with witty and whimsy titles with references to some classic or famous literature that a player also needs to sort. And, of course, the game features potions brewing mechanic to discover power ups!

We used our personal savings to hire an illustrator and she drew stunning pictures of ingredients that we use for the labels and we also used my personal savings to hire a composer and localizers, none of them use gen ai :)

My daughter and I saw a rainbow today without rain. It was obviously light refracting off of the clouds but it made an entire ring around the sun and it was so beautiful. I got some really amazing shots of Luna right afterwards! Apple definitely stepped up their picture game with this last update. I hate them (because obviously, fuck that shit) but man am I entranced by this new feature.

Anyway, we felt so blessed to see these absolutely amazing sights and I wanted to share them with all of my friends! Blessed be, you beautiful beings!

I'm celebrating one year of HRT in my transition journey. 🎉🏳️‍⚧️ It's been quite a ride so far, but wouldn't ever go back!

A lot is going on besides my transition, and it has impacted my mental health a lot. Luckily I have a few people around me who I can count on for support. 🩷 I also started going to the gym, which helps a lot to clear my mind for a while. 🏋️‍♀️
