Hello, who do I contact/email if I'm interested in joining an Org? I plan to join APC Band and Pwersa, thanks.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE SHOW, YOU SHOULD NOT READ THIS.

WATCH THE SHOW TOMORROW, 5 PM TO 8 PM.

This was my very first time watching a show from theatro phileo and it didn't disappoint.

I really like the show. It had a very strong start. The actors comitted to the act and delivered a wonderful performance.

Magda really reminds me of Jolina Magdangal and her co actor is really so good. The demon guy and the angel girl are so good too. The hysterical girl is so good that I'm stressed out watching her lolll. The scanner guy is so good too. My fave was ate girl that did the first scan loll reminds me so much of "Mimi my seducyive daughter." She might've had one of the smallest parts in that first play but she mothered her role.

The second play was really strong too. I really like the actress of avery and isa. They delivered they're emotional parts so good I started feeling their emotions. Even david loll. The wedding coordinator was so funny and one of the best parts of the 2nd play alongside with her 2 assistants and they delivered so well.

I hope avery's mom can reply to her in the future 😆

The third play, woohh, it was so good. Very strong ending to the show. Everyone was so good. Like EVERYONE. I feel so taken with this last play. It was so stressful that I began biting my nails lol. And I did not even imagine the ending to be the ending. I dont even have a fave because they're all so good. I love it so much. I can imagine it as a movie honestly. Like drama, thriller, it can also be a horror movie because the setting of the story is scary for me.

Props to the writers, directors, and everyone who brought life to the show. Everything was amazing. The lights, the tech, sound , props everything.

But if I have one teeny tiny like problem like its just for me is that the volume of the mic is too low. Like some mics sound louder than the others and when they re in the part of the stage where the mic is low, I can barely hear the actors' dialogues but that just my own opinionn.

Anw, thank you for the wonderful show theatro phileo. Hope to see another show from your org again next time.

So tired of repetitive concessionaires and also lacking of variety in the past. But finally, something new sa APC.

So far, this was the best line up sa APC that I experienced, sobrang solid para kang nasa pop up market.

we have cute trinkets for you!!

Hey guys!!!

Just a quick update about the SOMFest flower orders. There was a small mix-up with Flor De Amor. The orders under Christoff and Lauren got switched. Both were flowers, but they had different prices.

There were also three other students who didn’t get their orders. One of them was Ranzel, and the other two weren’t listed anymore since the vendor forgot their names.

The good thing is Flor De Amor wants to make up for it. They’re giving out a voucher for your next purchase, or you can claim your flowers at their shop.

If you’re one of the affected, you can message them on IG: Flor De Amor Flowers (IG)

First of all, alam po namin na mahirap mag handle ng event pero hindi na justifiable ang dalawang araw na delayed.

9 am call time tapos magstastart 11 am, laking sagabal to hindi lang sa oras ngunit sa mga players din kase super dami pa namin na maglalaro.

suggestion ko lang ay pumili ng araw tapos sakupin buong oras umaga hanggang hapon para mabilis at matapos agad ang bracketing (ito kase ginawa last year). hindi ko alam pano pa aayusin to kase bukas sana semis at finals na, eh meron pa atang sampung bracket na hindi pa nakakapaglaro.

reklamo ko din, pag hindi sumipot yung isang team, advance niyo na yung nag show up tapos dq niyo na yung wala pa, bigyan niyo ng 5 mins grace period pag time na okay na yan tanggal na (nasa rulebook yan. pag no show, dq pero hindi naman sinusunod). hindi yung pipili kayo sa ibang bracket tapos ang maabala yung isang bracket team na ninakawan niyo ng kalaban.

hello!! i just wanted to ask if apc has a dedicated club / org about music since i'm interested on learning the piano hehe.. ask ko lang rin if there's a specific music room (?) that u can use for free and or to learn, thank you for answering in advance! ^{_^}

Coming from an old member, I would like to share some advice sa mga gustong sumali this year on what to expect and what to do during the auditions next week on 9/11. Maraming nag register nung org fair and band will only be accepting a few people this year kasi super dami na din namin, so here are some tips on how to increase ur survival chance

1. Pick 2 songs that will best showcase what you can do on your instrument.

• The judges will not be letting you play the entire song to save time, so better that you pick a highlight section to play like the guitar solo, chorus, etc. Also we encourage you to use a backing track which you may provide through a USB or YouTube link.

2. Don't play what you can't play cleanly.

• Instead of giving a sloppy performance, pumili ka ng kanta na kaya mo talaga tugtugin. Don't be pressured to pick the most difficult song ever to audition with.

3. We are looking for those who stand out.

• While APC Band doesn't cater to any specific style of playing/singing, we give more attention to those who play something uncommon and to those who can execute many different genres.

4. The guitar amplifiers provided are very good.

• Ang ginagamit namin during rehearsals and performances are the Boss Katana(s) MKII 50 watt and 100 watt specifically. These amps have lots of built in effects and channels, so a pedalboard or effects processor won't be necessary (tho feel free to use one).

5. Drummers, learn how to do rimshots.

• Kung drummer ka, wag ka mahiya pumalo. The drumkit sounds best when you hit hard and confidently, especially the kick and snare (dynamics are important too, that goes without saying).

6. Singers, don't be too shy to raise your voice.

• Bonus: if you know how to distort your voice (growl, false chord, shriek, etc) automatic pass na yan

(char (unless 👀))

7. Drummers and bassists are in high demand, while guitarists and vocalists are not.

• Pssst... secret lang natin toh.. Pero a vast majority of people that register every year are guitarists and vocalists. That means the judges are more critical of them and competition is higher. On the other hand, barely any bassists, pianists, and drummers audition so we are kinda desperate.

8. Lots of people might be watching.

• Most likely, lots of members from band will be there to watch and judge. But don't let this discourage you because this is how you learn to play in front of a crowd. Noong 2022, public talaga yung auditions so the auditorium was almost filled with random students watching. Mabuti this year di na ganun 😤

9. Stage presence is good.

• Don't stand on stage like a log but don't let it affect your playing either. Performing in a band is all about giving the crowd a good time, so learn to move your hips or bob your head

10. You've made it this far, but some things are more important than skill and talent.

• I wonder what it could be? Kayo na bahala diyan.

Good luck sa inyo! 🤘
