BIO-110 or CHM-090

Hi everyone! I’m planning to apply to the ADN program, and I need to choose between BIO-110 and CHM-090 as a prerequisite. Which course would you recommend? I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you!

If it’s not too difficult, I’d also consider taking it online, but if I take it in person, I’d choose the Southern Wake Campus.

Yes, these are both very basic courses. Most students who studied chemistry and biology in high school don’t need to take them. However, my advisor told me I need to take one of these two courses before taking BIO 168.

Thank you for your reply! Actually English is not my first language. Could you tell me what format the exams are in? Is there much writing involved?

it was multiple choice when i took it in 2025. could be different now though. and the labs exams are the exact same questions and answers as the virtual labs

Thank you so much! !!Your reply has been really helpful. I’m always worried I won’t be able to understand what’s being said in class.
