im just tryna fish in harvest moon 64

Hey there,

So I was very big into vaporwave back in the day when it first hit around 2010-2015. I wouldn’t say I ever stopped listening to it but since then I’ve just kinda stuck to old favorites and pulled up playlists and compilations on YouTube whenever I wanted to hear some. Around that same time 2010/2015 or so I first started collecting vinyl, but back then most vaporwave stuff either didn’t exist in vinyl or was extremely hard to get.

Well, George Clanton is playing near me soon. I got tickets to the show and that sent me back down the vaporwave rabbit hole of discovering and rediscovering specific albums. To my surprise, so much more of it is available on vinyl now lol.

Anyways what do you guys think of my first pick? I’ve got a bunch more on order from eBay, discogs and 100% electronica. I’ve got hushwave by begotten, internet lust by Bbrainz, empire building by Saint Pepsi, Virtua.zip and 200% electronica by esprit, heavy black heart and I’ll try living like this by deaths dynamic shroud, and one hundred mornings by windows96 all on the way. What else do you guys think I should be on the look out for? Have I missed any killer albums in the last 10 years or so?

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to track down a genuinely high definition, high quality scan of the Floral Shoppe album arts by Macintosh Plus. Most of the versions floating around Discogs and Google Images are heavily compressed, compressed artifacts, or too small for what I'm trying to do.

Does anyone have a clean, high res scan (ideally from the vinyl jacket, cassette inlays, or CD inlays) that they could share?

Any links or pointers would be massively appreciated.

Hi all! I’m going to London soon and hoping to find some places to grab any media mostly records I know it’s a rare chance but does anyone have any recommendations or gotten lucky with any finds? Tysm

Noticed my Floral Shoppe has handwritten engravings on it saying:

(Side A) "OESB-92A MACINTOSH PLUS "IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD""

(Side B) "OESB-92B FLORAL SHOPPE "IT'S ALL IN YOUR HANDS""

Trying to find what stores might be worth checking out in Los Angeles but nothing seems to be coming up. I know it’s rare to find these records in retail spaces but I wanted to know if any of you have had any luck in the LA area, secondhand or new.

Saw this on bandcamp and was surprised nobody had purchased yet. Any reason why?

Such a cool album. Ordered way back in March. Like a lot of us im sure, weather channel's music was really my gateway drug into vaporwave.

Extremely disappointing experience with Discogs and the Polish seller Ingenio (Piotr Dudek). I paid €50 for a record advertised as VG+. Before he shipped it, I specifically emailed him and asked him to check the record for any problems or skipping. Despite this, the record arrived skipping and was clearly not as described.
I then had to return the record and pay 379 SEK out of my own pocket. The seller refused to reimburse the return shipping, even though his Seller Terms did not state that the buyer was responsible for it.
Discogs took around two weeks to respond. Despite providing evidence, I feel the seller has faced no meaningful consequences and Discogs has done very little to resolve the situation.
The fact that I specifically warned the seller about skipping before shipment makes this experience even more unacceptable. It also makes me seriously concerned that this may not be an isolated incident.
I strongly advise buyers to think twice before purchasing from this seller.

Beautifully produced hushwave and fun dynamic slush. I must have listened to this 20 times since Friday. 10/10 masterpiece of an album. That Tele track is absolutely gorgeous too.

Also the cover art is insane I can’t wait to spin it.

Hey guys so I'm looking to get one of the 2814 records on vinyl, and I was wondering is it worth buying directly from the Dream Catalogue store? This would be a purchase in the UK. I have seen many mixed feelings about buying from there, delays and whatnot, so I just wanted to ask if still in late 2026 they're not shipping in time. It does say the vinyls are in stock so just wondering can I expect a prompt delivery if I make the purchase?

Thanks a lot!

Got hit vibes delivered today and having a little Saint Pepsi day! Prom king has been one of my favourite albums for 10+ years but I only recently realised he had the Saint Pepsi project so fairly new to vaporwave. Please send me all your recommendations so I can build my collection.

After about 11 months, my New World Disciples record has finally arrived!

I bought mine on the secondary market like a dumbass. Hope some of you are more lucky.

This is the vapor collection I've put together over a few years. It follows my personal taste. Mostly stuff that I listened to online for years and liked before purchasing. What do you think? I'd like to move on from buying vapor records but i'd like to add a few more. I thought it would be fun to take ideas about how to round out the collection based on things y'all think I may like or big holes. Could be mainstream vapor stuff or more obscure. I'll buy a few of the most up voted options.

New to the scene, give me your best recommendation for soundtrack, vinyl, etc. The crème de la crème.

Also, the “random mystery vinyl” I bought from 100% electronica for $15 ended up being Small Black LP. I’d never heard of them before, so we’ll see what it’s about
