Hello everyone. This is my first time posting in this subreddit, so apologies if this is the wrong place.
I’d like to ask: is anyone here familiar with this website called steamhistory.net? It stores various names and profile photos of mine from the past. I want to have them removed because i generally dont like random websites storing my history personas and profile pictures much like what I did with the site called 'steamiduk', but one problem ive encountered is about the process on 'steamhistory' is quite complicated, as it requires me to provide a strong and logical reason for why i should want them to be removed.
My question is: is this legal? like why should i need a strong reason why? i heard something about GPDR law related with EU law to remove my personal data. but sadly i live in Asia. is that possible to request data removal if i live outside of EU?
Thanks in advance.

Hey! I wanted to share this bit of news about my upcoming Half-Life 2 mod that is coming this November, where I thank all the people who've wishlisted it, showcased some work done, achievements/source code will be open source later and so on.
During the wishlist part, I discussed that 'having localization is very important when publishing on Steam'; if you are interested in translating my mod to one of the languages shown (or not), please reach out on the forums! I've got few friends helping me with French, SChinese and Russian.
Thanks for your time and hopefully to see you playing it soon!

This is no complaint, more of a desperate cry. Back in time I had no money available to spend there, but now that I do there is no Shop...
Oh man I'd love to browse the merch store now that I have adult money and actually get something for myself. People say they love their Spycrabs and they so lucky to buy one when they could, but I only saw one online and I dont wanna spend hundreads of dollars on old plush from whoknows where. Would be awsome to purchase soemething on the Official Valve Store.

So I woke up today to the wonderful Steam notification: "Account locked for posting or upvoting suspicious content." Apparently, my account magically posted or upvoted some scam links. The funny thing? I’m the kind of person who ignores and dodges sketchy DMs from friends whose accounts got hacked in the first place, and my login history looks completely clean. Yet somehow, Valve's almighty AI decided I am the criminal mastermind here, despite my inventory being worth over $2,000. Meanwhile, you can hop into any official game server and find raging cheaters spinning and wallhacking 24/7 without a care in the world. But instead of fixing that, Valve’s brilliant security system’s master plan is to make sure the "community hub" is squeaky clean by locking my account and holding my items hostage, forcing me to jump through hoops to prove I'm innocent. Peak performance right there. 👏
Has anyone else dealt with Valve's automated comedy show recently?
How long does Steam Support usually take to realize their AI is hallucinating and lift the lock?
Cheers!
