Ulster Rugby have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s BKT United Rugby Championship Round 5 fixture against DHL Stormers. Tom Brigg, Sam Crean, Jed Findlay, Rob Herring, James Hume, Martin Moloney and Zac Ward have all joined the squad in Cape Town.

Some big returns there, glad to see Hume and Zac back fit

Yep though Hume’s injury was worse but I’m glad it’s not as having Flannery in the centre again is just not the same

What is the centre combo? Do we have a 12? We’ve loads that can play 13: Hume, Carson, McIlroy, Hawkshaw

Great to have Hume and Herring back, but also great to see nothing has come of Devine's HIA. Would love to see us throw a curveball and stick Augustus at 12 given that the only other options are Flannery, Carson or Hawkshaw, but alas, I can't see it.

So maybe something along the lines of: McAllister, Herring, Knox, Snyman, Sheridan, Izzy, McCann, Augustus, Devine, Murphy, Ward, Flannery, Hume, McIlroy, Lowry - Walker, Crean, Wilson, Donnell, McKillop, McKee, Mullins, Brigg/Moloney/Findlay

Important to remember that the Stormers shipped 40 points at home to Scarlets at the weekend. If we can make it a try-fest and play well for 60+mins, then we've every chance at taking two-points or more.

He passed his HIA, was back on the pitch at 78 mins after waiting on the sidelines for 5 minutes until a break in play, Hawkshaw isn’t a natural 13 which is why at Connacht he didn’t get a senior contract as at the time both him and John Devine could only play at 12 so one had to go, but now Devine has developed as a 13 so he can play both now

I think Zac Ward could probably do a job at centre, he's got the size and strength as a carrier, he used to be a flanker so he should be able to cover the defensive role, and if he stays in midfield he'd be less likely to run into touch.

He'd atleast not get tackled into touch as often...

This is a quality shout. The guy played in the forwards for ballynahinch, I'd stick him at 12. Get involved, get his hands on the ball. Much easier to defend than 13. Plus having Hume back would ease him into it. I say we go for it

God the drop to bench there is massive. That's why we struggle in games.

I think our aim should be at least 4 trys, and hopefully finish within 7. Obviously a win would be class

Some impact on there. Wilson and McKillop could have fun against a tired defence. Mullins and Walker also. But with 9 lads off in Green it will always be a drop to 3rd and sometimes 4th choice.

Honestly hear me out Dave McCann at Centre .... tbf Timoney is best adapted for it out of our backrow.

Come on now we all know McCann's true calling is at 10, a true french style ten with that hair

Surely you couldn’t start Herring after such a long lay off?

Decent team, but the 10-12 channel would be worrying in defence

Was Zac Ward injured last week?

Id be throwing Hume Ward Herring and Crean straight in

Most positive medical update I’ve seen in a long time. If the Stormers rest their SA players then we absolutely have a chance this weekend

Our springboks are available. SFM will probably be rested but the rest will play. Kolbe still injured tho.

James Hume back ... Genuinely even with a depleted squad wouldn't be surprized if we get over the line.
