F4M relationshipšŸ¤Ž According to you guys

I’ve been reading the relationship posts made on Wednesdays for a while and I see a lot of the comments on the F4M ones saying ā€œeverything is me me me, what do you have to offer the guy?ā€
I’ve heard you cries and I will now formulate the PERFECT ā€œF4Mā€ post known to mankind as per the comments recommendations. All can use this is as a guide so read carefully.

Hi, I’m a [insert, preferably early 20s age]F, looking for a 25-60 M for indentured servitude. I am 4’11, skinny but very wide child giving hips.
I do not ask for much because I believe a woman is meant to serve her man.

I offer laundry services , I can cook meals from all regions of Uganda and I’m perfecting my continental cuisine so I can be an all rounder, I clean very well and I hate mess! That dirty sock on your apartment floor the first time we meet? Don’t hide it, I’ll wash it for you papi.

I don’t mind never being taken on dates , a nice night in works for me! Also I work and I’m very independent so I don’t really care about your financial status . Your female bestie ? Keep her, we can all sleep in the same bed if you’d like!!

You don’t even need to text me consistently to be honest , I’m fine with once a week. I also do not club , or drink or smoke. I’m a devoted Bible thumper and I’ll take fellowship over the club any day (unlike my agemates urgh).

Thank you for reading. I cannot wait to serve you .

F4M relationshipšŸ¤Ž Let’s fall in love guys🌚🫢

Today I finally got the guts to make this post
22F and I’m looking for an attractive guy aged 24–29 who genuinely wants a relationship and is ready to put effort into one.
I want the dates, the thoughtful gifts, the long conversations, the laughter, the weekend plans, and all the little things that make falling in love beautiful.
I’m not the loudest or most extroverted person, so I’d love someone who brings out my playful, silly side and makes me feel comfortable enough to be myself.
I’m big on actions over words because men like to talk a lot with no actions. I love a man who takes initiative, plans dates, follows through, and shows me he likes me instead of just talking about it.
Please don’t DM me if you’re looking for something casual, temporary, or aren’t willing to put genuine effort into getting to know someone.
I want something real, intentional, romantic, and mutual. Someone who wants to love and be loved just as much as I do. ā¤ļø
If this sounds like you, pls feel free to send a hey😌

M4M relationshipšŸ¤Ž M4M] Kampala/Uganda – Gay Ugandan guy looking to connect with a white expat or resident

Hi everyone! I’m a 24-year-old gay man currently living in Uganda. I’m open-minded, down-to-earth, and looking to meet a white man living in or visiting Uganda for dating, meaningful connection, or genuine companionship.

A bit about me: I enjoy good conversation, exploring new spots, listening to music, and spending low-key time getting to know someone. I particularly tend to prefer white men when it comes to chemistry and attraction, so I figured I'd put myself out there and see who is around.

If you are living in Uganda (or here long-term) and are interested in chatting, getting to know each other, and seeing where things go, feel free to send me a DM. Please be respectful and mature!

Relationship talk Love is not there anymore

My workmate told me 😊

Love is not there anymore among people, they just have interests and goals.

Like he only needs someone to give him babies and the woman only wants a place to bring up her children from the previous relationship and one day she wanted to chase him out of his own home.

Me who is still looking for love šŸ˜” I listen but with regrets and questions, what if the one I'm dating also brings first her interests and goals before love mwana. We are finished. Sometimes I even wish not to commit to someone but I should have a purpose in life.

So I do the right thing with low expectations hoping I fall into the right hands šŸ˜„ not opportunistic hands.

Peace out šŸ•Šļø

Vent/Rant 😤 AI at workplaces making people geniusly stupid

So lately I have been thinking and observing, AI is seemingly a good tool but it can also make a team seem more weird. Imagine you are sending emails left right centre and the entire debate or exchange is simply AI reasoning, ofcourse there is a human element at times but sometimes I notice it's people thinking they are smarter, one with a paid version comes and feels superior over others and e cycle continues. Instead of being rational and make a quick decision, we are continuously arguing and left unfulfilled with our deliverables.

Am just venting guys!!!!

Opinion/Discussion Are Ugandan founders on Reddit? Do we have a sub?

Not just for tech people, but for anyone who is building or working on something and wants to share, or get some encouragement, or who has learnt something, or whatever

My last two posts here were removed because one was apparently illegally promoting a product, and the other was trying to talk about this issue and see if other people were going through the same thing.

Maybe if we had a sub where Ugandans can feel a bit more free to share their business/founder journey, to build, and get feedback within the Ugandan context, we could leave r/Uganda alone and have a more receptive community to do this without disrupting this sub.

If it’s just me going through this then that’s fine, and I’ll figure another way out or find another platform
I’m just tired of being censored endlessly while sharing things that might matter to Ugandans like me, so maybe I’m on the wrong sub.

Anyone else? Is there a place for us somewhere on this app?
Or

General Unpopular Opinion.

There is this one craving deeper than approval, more addictive than reputation. It's not about what others think of you It's about how comfortable your life feels and that's where most men break because they don't just seek peace they're addicted to it.

The cost of that addiction is far worse than they realise. Peace sounds Noble until you realise It's the leash around your neck, most men live their lives trying to avoid confrontation Like it's some higher form of intelligence but avoidance isn't wisdom. It's strategic cowardice.

You tell yourself you're choosing calm, choosing maturity choosing stability, But you're not choosing, you're fleeing and every time you flee, You trade power for Comfort.

I Would say the addiction to peace is the most subtle betrayal of all because unlike approval or reputation which demand an external response, peace requires nothing. It asks for no action, no fight, no voice and that's why it rots you from the inside out. You keep the mask on because it's quiet, You keep the fake friendship because it's not explosive, You bite your tongue, hold your breath, walk on eggshells, all so things stay smooth but beneath that smooth surface is decay, resentment, compromise, weakness. You confuse silence for strength, You think because you didn't respond you maintained the frame but I saw this illusion centuries ago.

A wise ruler must learn how not to be good and to use this knowledge or not use it according to necessity. Translation, Peace is a tool not a principle and most men don't use it, they're used by it.

They believe peace is safety but safety has never built an Empire, It never built anything.

Look at history, peace never gave birth to Greatness, Revolutions didn't come from calm, Power was not forged in consensus.

It came from tension, from disruption, from men who walked into conflict with calm eyes and unshakable posture While the masses avoided tension like disease. These men invited it because they understood that peace is not the reward, It's the byproduct of dominance. Your addiction to peace makes you tolerable, it makes you soft. You avoid hard conversations, you smile through subtle disrespect, You tolerate manipulation for the sake of social ease and the cost, you become predictable, forgettable.

A man others know will never cause discomfort and therefore will never be taken seriously.

Here's the reality, if your peace is dependant on the absence of conflict, then your inner state is owned by your environment. Your only calm when no one challenges, you Only grounded when no one disrespects, you Only stable when nothing's wrong but that's not stability, that's dependency and people feed on it they'll provoke you slowly.

One passive jab. One skipped invitation. One joke that's too sharp and they'll watch you do nothing, not because you're above it but because you can't risk the discomfort of conflict and the moment they confirm that they escalate. They now know what you fear, Not violence, not attack, but tension itself. You'll give anything to keep the water still even your own spine.

So, here is the reversal Once a week Invite tension.

Don't wait for conflict to find you Walk toward it.

Say no, without explanation

Delay a response you would have rushed

Disagree in public not for the sake of arguement but to train your nervous system to survive disagreement

Watch the heat rise and don't move because your body must learn what your mouth cannot say that you will no longer be governed by peace.

The most powerful man in the room is not the one who controls the chaos it's the one who can stand inside it and remain unchanged because when people realise you're not afraid of storms, they stop throwing them. They stop baiting you. They stop pushing your limits just to watch you fold.

Why? because they realise the tension doesn't move you, It breaks them. This is not about aggression, It's about gravity. When other sense that their tantrums, their silence, their guilt trips no longer register, they retreat not because you attacked but because you stood still.

Peace then is no longer your drug, It's your shadow, It follows you because you've stopped needing it and ironically, that's when you finally have it. Not because you chased it but because you became unshakable in its absence.

Opinion/Discussion Are Relationships the Only Thing Human Beings Talk About? šŸ˜‚

Guys, have you noticed that almost every conversation eventually finds its way back to relationships?

I’m convinced you could attend a conference on agricultural mechanisation, and somehow, by lunchtime, someone would be explaining why their ex was a narcissist. šŸ˜‚ (this actually happened to me with a zambian lady i met at a conference in Nairobi)

And I’m not just talking about romantic relationships. Friendships, family, workmates, situationships, talking stages, people who stopped talking, people who should never have started talking. The entire human relationship department is permanently open for business.

Every TikTok Live I’ve joined seems to confirm this. You enter a Live expecting to hear something random, and within five minutes, someone is explaining how Lwanga wasted four years of their life.

And Lwanga, wherever you are, I hope you’re doing some serious reflection. šŸ˜‚

But it got me thinking.

During COVID, I spent a considerable amount of time locked up at my parents’ house. Before that, I had always considered myself something of a loner. You know, one of those people who proudly announces, ā€œI enjoy my own company.ā€

Well, COVID tested that theory thoroughly.

Because after spending enough time with myself, I discovered that, much as I enjoyed my own company, I was not nearly as entertaining as I had previously believed. šŸ˜‚

I genuinely started missing people.

Not necessarily because I wanted anything from them. I just wanted to meet people, hear their stories, understand how they viewed life, what excited them, what frightened them, what they believed, and why they believed it.

There’s something incredibly stimulating about discovering another human being’s world.

And equally, there’s something deeply satisfying about someone taking a genuine interest in yours.

Think about it. Someone voluntarily sits down, listens to you explain your life, asks follow up questions, remembers little details about you, and actually wants to know more.

In this economy, where the dollar is 4,500 ugx ? Someone is giving you their undivided attention for free? šŸ˜‚

That’s an underrated luxury.

I think that period changed how I viewed people.

These days, I can walk into a shop, have a brief interaction with someone, and suddenly become curious about their entire existence.

Someone is unusually kind to me, and I’m thinking, ā€œYou seem like an interesting human being. We should probably be friends.ā€

Someone is rude to me, and I’m equally curious. ā€œMy brother, what happened? Is this your personality, or have I arrived during a difficult chapter of your autobiography?ā€ šŸ˜‚

And of course, sometimes it’s a beautiful lady behind the counter, and my curiosity becomes remarkably enthusiastic.

Suddenly, I’m very interested in her worldview, childhood experiences, career aspirations, and whether she believes in giving strangers her phone number.

But seriously, I find people fascinating.

Which brings me back to TikTok Lives.

I’m always amazed by how freely people share deeply personal experiences with complete strangers.

You’ll enter a Live at 11:30p.m., and someone you’ve never met is explaining their childhood trauma, their parents’ marriage, their failed engagement, and why they no longer trust anyone whose name begins with J.

Meanwhile, strangers are listening, one person is sending roses, and another is commenting, ā€œMen are naturally hunters.ā€

Sir, please. We’re discussing someone’s relationship with their father. 😭

But beneath all that chaos, I think there’s something profoundly human happening.

People want to be heard. They want to be understood. They want to connect. They want someone to care about the little details of their lives.

And perhaps that’s why relationships dominate so many conversations.

Because whether we’re discussing friendship, romance, family, Because whether we’re discussing friendship, romance, family, or even that colleague who suddenly starts treating you like a stranger because you didn’t contribute to their birthday cake, we’re ultimately talking about the people who shape our experience of being alive. šŸ˜‚ we’re ultimately talking about the people who shape our experience of being alive.

Relationships can build people, break people, heal people, frustrate people, and occasionally convince otherwise intelligent adults to post motivational quotes about loyalty at 2 a.m.

Human beings are truly fascinating creatures. šŸ˜‚

And maybe the reason relationships are such a universal topic is that, regardless of how independent we think we are, so much of life’s meaning is experienced through other people.

I’ve come to appreciate that simply knowing someone, listening to their story, or having someone genuinely interested in yours is one of life’s quiet pleasures.

Survey/Research KISORO: A LAND SHAPED BY MOUNTAINS.

Post image
4 Upvotes

Known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage and incredible wildlife, Kisoro is a destination that deserves more attention from Uganda and the rest of the world. And on 21 November 2026, the Virunga Gorilla Marathon offers you another reason to discover it.

Kisoro's landscape is unlike anything you experience in many other parts of Uganda.

The mountains of Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo are more than beautiful sights.

They are part of the region's identity, attracting adventurers, hikers, nature lovers and travellers seeking something different, creating a dramatic backdrop for everyday life.

Then there are lakes Mutanda, Mulehe, Chahafi, and Kayumbu where calm waters reflect the surrounding hills and volcanic peaks. Whether you want to enjoy the scenery, explore the lake or simply take a moment away from the busy pace of life, the experience offers a different kind of peace that's worth living.

Kisoro is also home to amazing natural attractions, including Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and access to the southern sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which are habitats for endangered mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, as well as countless bird species.

A destination is never defined by its scenery alone. Its people are equally important.

Kisoro is home to communities including the Bafumbira, Bakimbiri, Bakiga, Banyarwanda and Batwa, each contributing to the area's social and cultural identity.

Kisoro's cultural heritage lives in more than historical accounts. For visitors, discovering this heritage adds meaning to the journey. It is a chance to move beyond taking photographs of beautiful places and learn about the communities that give those places their character.

Therefore, the Virunga Gorilla Marathon is more than an opportunity to compete in a race. It is an invitation to experience a destination.

Whatever brings you, Kisoro offers a reason to make the journey.

Register now via virungagorillamarathon.com, choose your distance and start planning your trip today.

Run. Explore. Conserve.

Opinion/Discussion Random Thought 02

For a while, I have been thinking what really needs to be done to make our country actually the whole Africa a better place I thought of an idea similar to Gadhafi's Pan african state one currency one language(English) and then it came to a part where 1 president is needed. And then for every country, they would be turning to states and states being ruled by a mayor working directly under the president.

Every state should be having 6 representatives (max) that make up a parliament raising issues of the state what needs to be done and so on creating one passport removing the taxes we collect from each other and making the taxes single like on imports and other stuff like no taxation on fellow states since we are all one country there's more to the details but šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

Thinking about our leaders i will even be specific our leader and the Gov't alot of corruption in Africa its is very unlikely to happen like it cant happen i really donr understand the reason why people are tooo tooo greedy especially the ones in power. Personally i believe a person born in alot of wealth i think it gets boring to them sometimes that they start chasing purpose a few become drunkards or drug addicts some few begin working on certain projects or work to make themselves feel like they earned it like they're hustlers and the evil ones just begin to toy with people for fun if you know what i mean

Maybe its because I come from Class A broke background šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ but there's really alot of stuff i dont understand i do know not everyone is supposed to make it wherever there is light darkness is to be found as well but i really hate conflict and i hate to see other people suffer because of some greed of other people yes there are some necessary sacrifices but i believe in equivalent exchange( To obtain something of equal Value must be lost) so my point being yes you can be corrupt but atleast make our infrastructure classy the roadss mahn steal our taxes but make our streets safe at night

create a society where kids and women are safe like atleast do something about that anyways there's more to my thoughts just dont want to make stuff lengthy

Business advice/discussion I'm told rabbit farming is a gem

I'm looking forward to investing in rabbit farming as early as next year

I have very little experience with rabbits when I was growing in the village

They could roam around, easy to take care of, and feed anything green around the compound

Growing up my passion for reaching farming still exists, but I've come to a realization that it's not as informal as I thought

So am looking forward to people who have an idea in rabbit farming, know about the market dynamics, and the risks involved

If you know a nearby farm around kampala that I can visit to learn even more, that would be a plus

Opinion/Discussion StanChat to ABSA switch

So I've been using standard chartered for a year now, for my monthly payments. Since this takeover, I've been asking myself if the fares are the same. To be clear, standard chartered hasn't been charging anything. Just the 3000 charge from when I receive the cash. Then it's been 3000 every mtn transaction I make, and then 5000 for airtel. Then maybe 5000 for withdrawal on a non standard chat atm. So I needed to ask the ABSA Veterans, how the experience is. And if not what i should opt for.

Vent/Rant 😤 Stopped by Two Men in Police Jackets on a Dark Street in Kampala - Is This Normal?

I was driving home from dinner with my family when, the moment I turned onto the dark street leading to my house, two men on a bodaboda wearing police jackets suddenly stopped me and asked for my driving licence. I had done nothing wrong, but the situation honestly made me nervous, especially with my kids in the car. My window was open, and I couldn’t help wondering whether they had stopped me because they assumed I was a foreigner or an outsider. After checking my documents, they simply let me go. Is this normal in Kampala, especially on dark residential streets? And how should I handle situations like this or avoid unnecessary incidents in the future?

Opinion/Discussion How deal with danger as a woman in Uganda?

Assume you have a stalker. How would you best defend yourself especially if he's escalating. The police are quite useless. This stalker is aware of your workplace.

I googled and tasers are illegal but of course that can't stop one from protecting themselves. How and where would one get an authentic can of pepper spray? How would they ensure it's actually effective given how Ugandans are excellent with selling counterfeit items?

Is carrying a knife advised? I'd say there's a possibility of having that turned on the woman?

Are there self defense courses or classes?

Please treat this like a serious scenario and give comprehensive advice. Thank you.

Vent/Rant 😤 Where should Ugandan founders find their audience??

Guys

For some reason this sub feels over-governed to me

As someone trying to create real-life solutions using tech, I be wanting to come here and share what I’m doing with a group of Ugandans that might be interested in seeing it or doing the same thing
This is why I post updates relevant to Ugandans on the Ugandan subreddit
Not even advertising or promoting

This is the hundredth time my post has been taken down even while trying to follow the set rules and keep it relevant to our community

The reasons for takedown are usually valid and I keep trying to observe the additional rules, but I just don’t get it this time

Now I’ve been told to send my posts to [r/techUganda](r/techUganda), but the people I am actually trying to engage with are not techies. They are normal people like me
Secondly the techuganda sub has relatively fewer numbers compared to this one, of which people who have actual interest in the work I’m doing are on this sub, not developers.
You get??

So now we have to wait for Monday, oba Friday even just to ask questions or get feedback, and that’s if the post is not taken down or fidgeted with in some way

Omuntu agoinge wa???

If we can’t get feedback from here then where from? Maybe someone can advise
How come I can post all other sorts of nonsense here and not have it taken down? Ehh
You can talk about anything here but never your business, but also only on Monday and Friday
How so?

I can’t even post it on my profile because I have all of 12 wonderful followers like Jesus and no one sees my posts there

I know the mods are doing fabulous work because I can imagine the volumes of madness they have to sift through on a daily

But do we have some space to breathe?
Are any other founders suffocating like me?
I thought Reddit was a free space and I’ve tried to follow all the rules
Maybe I just don’t get the whole thing

What is our way forward from here?
How do we, who can’t dance on TikTok and who have lots of ideas, connect with fellow Ugandans and find out what they actually need?

Anyway
Let me dust off my ring light
